what I needed and worked great!

This worked perfectly in my Volvo C30 for my phone holder. Bought some 15lb 3M double sided tape and mounted this to the center of the air vents (see photo).

Used this to mount my Garmin GPS in my car. Fits the garmin ball socket perfectly.

I used this to mount an accessory on my BMW K1100LT Motorcycle. Worked out well and I've had no issues with it.

This mount is reasonably well made for what it is. The one I received is exactly as pictured. What took me a bit by surprise is just how small it is, but I guess it's the size it should be in hindsight. I don't know how the metal nutsert is secured to the resin part of the mount but after a little of of poking and prodding of it, it seems to be well contained.

I have gone through 3 of these that snapped right from the stem. Very horrible because I needed this part for an important project. The ONLY reason I reordered is because it was next day delivery and I was hopefully. Horrible.

I needed this for my magnetic car kit and use it every day. Zero complaints, just buy it if it’s what you need.

Board game aficionados will get it when I say "tactical meeple," but that's beside the point.The 1/4"-20 connector is easy to secure with the right hardware (standard photography/tripod stuff), and the 17mm ball is perfect for the NUMEROUS phone clamps we've accumulated over the years. I wish I'd known about this product three years ago when I configured my art studio for streaming during the pandemic.I'm using mine on the butt of a cane handle (I use a monopod as a cane) and am attaching a magnetic phone mount to the ball. This allows me to "dock" my cane against the side of the refrigerator, or on doorjam strike plates, or any convenient steel surface.
