i got one for myself and one as a gift. We both love them! Crisp, defined edges, crystal clear and looks beautiful. Hefty weight as well. Very happy with it. However, the packaging was a mess. The outer shipping box wasn't all that manhandled looking but the gift boxes inside were a mess. The packaging sleeve that the gift box was in was nearly entirely ripped at the sides. The other had a partial rip. One of the gift boxes had a nearly completely torn off flap and the other was intact. I gave away the better box, but had that one been the only one I received, I would have had to have exchanged it for a more giftable presentation. The crystals inside though were in perfect condition, lying in a satin fabric with packaging that held the pyramids securely, keeping them safely protected. So although the packaging was a mess, the most important part, the crystals, were perfect and beautiful. :)Very interestingly, I noticed that as I held my hand over the pyramid, I could feel subtle heat and energy rising from it. I could even close my eyes and was able to feel when my hand was directly over it! When I told the person I gifted one to, to hold her hand over it - and she knows nothing of pyramid power, I didn't even get a chance to ask her if or what she felt, and she immediately exclaimed that she felt warmth! :)Highly recommend for decor, and possible more! ;)

PROSThis is a beautiful crystal that is well worth the price. It seems to me to be a very high quality piece of crystal. I highly recommend owning this. The crystal is heavy and I am testing it's refracting of light today (will update with photos) and it does have sharp edges so be careful when unpacking as the box has a warning on it. It is also 3 1/2" inches high as the ad advertised only 3" inches but that's okay - the more the better. And the reason I purchased this was for my studies on light and color. There are magical properties of light and color as other studies have shown that it affects behavior.The picture I included shows the amount of overall refraction caused by the passage of a light rays through this crystal prism pyramid which is defined as the angle of deviation. And as you can see the angle produces white light and an excellent demonstration of the dispersion of light commonly called the rainbow effect which is often seen when light passes through prisms or crystals. I like it because the dispersion is showing us the wavelengths of photons in a long laid out way. But that is because of the way I have my crystal placed.CONSThis has nothing to do with the crystal. It has to do with Amazon packaging - this is the third time this year that I have ordered something from Amazon and the items were just thrown in the box without any padding to protect the items. Jeff Bezos just became the richest man in the world by how - cutting back on the cost of padding - suggestion - PUT PADDING in your customers boxes when they order items from you. Amazon gets a negative -100 on this one.

A really nice large heavy piece that splits up the visible spectrum like a...effortlessly. Flawless, until you get fingerprints on it at least, a treat for folks with OCD. So polish your pyramid human. Whatever you do, don't drop over a tile or concrete floor when polishing your pyramid, it looks like it would be game over or mostly ruined game anyway. It's simply amazing to consider fragmented light photons illustrated. It might even make you think really smart thoughts about physics and the nature of the universe, black holes, spacetime, and all that. Not to mention the mysterious healing powers of a crystal pyramid, can't be discounted at any price. Five enthusiastic stars.
