MINKA-AIRE F845-WH Light Wave 44" Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote Control in White Finish

Recently purchased this fan in a different color (distressed koa) for a bedroom. Installation was easy and the fan worked so well that we purchased a second fan in white for the office. Fans are beautiful and we get multiple compliments on them. We have 3 Minka-Aire fans in total. Remotes can be programmed on different frequencies so they do not interfere with each other. Fan blades come weighed and balanced so the fans are extremely quite even on higher speeds. LED light is bright and lights the room well. LED light is also dimmable and adjusts to your preference. Happy with the purchase. Would purchase again.

These are really cool looking and really move air. I had them (bought 2) professionally installed by an electrician since we we’re already having electrical work done.I am not overly impressed with the remote control other than it does remember the settings from when you last turned it off when you turn it on from the wall switch. I would be thrilled if it could be wired to control the light with a dimmer, and a second switch hard wired to control the fan. Would I buy them again or recommend them? Absolutely YES!Some reviewer have stated that the noise is an issue. Funny thing is that the one installed in bedroom 1 is completely silent except for the sound of wind movement and the on in bedroom 2 has a slight rocking noise at any speed. I’m guessing it’s a “balancing issue”. Luck of the draw I guess. I can imagine some might create a louder rocking noise which would annoy me as well.

We love this fan. It replaced an older Minka Aire and is much prettier and moves air as well or better. The remote is better too, in that the older one had a button on the remote to make it go backwards and someone would hit it by accident from time to time. This fan has a switch on the fan body to reverse. It was easy to hang, directions were easy to understand.

I had a similar Minka but without the light in my condo so when I sold it & moved to a house, I bought 2 of this model & hired an electrician to install. The 1 in my condo was installed by a friend electrical engineer. He couldn’t get it to work & after troubleshooting with Minka tech, they send him a new part. Then it worked & was quiet & very effective in a large master bedroom. In the house the electrician easily installed the 1st one in the breakfast nook & it works wonderfully. The 1 in the master bedroom was defective & would not work. The replacement was defective & would not work (& came in brown vs white). And we’re paying for these electrician visits. Will switch brands.

Fan is great looking and sturdy. The light works great, bright when you need it and it dims to a good low level. Not too happy about replacing the light. I wouldn’t know how, it’s a one piece. The fan doesn’t wobble at all there wasn’t a way to balance anyway. At the low level, there is a low humming from the motor but tolerable. The medium and high speeds, you can’t hear the humming anymore because you’ll be blown away! The price is a bit high. I hope it lasts a long time.

Great looking fan, paid electrician to install it properly, made a CONSTANT humming noise to where I found myself turning it off. Called amazon, who said I had to call the company directly which I did. After getting to the right department, they automatically knew what the problem was and had a box all packed up with the parts to “fix” my 4 week old fan. Received the parts, now I would have to pay the electrician another $100. To repair it. Called back amazon today and told them my problem (I am an old lady which is fine by me) but I can not get on a ladder to take it down to return it. So, no help from either party and since it would mean i have to invest $200. To return this fan for a refund, I am just throwing my hands up and accept the fact that I got a really bad deal. If you purchase a dress with a hole in it and you call the company and the best they can do is send you a needle and tread…not a good sign.

arrived perfect, installed ok made a lot of noise. I was able to fix it. still do not know what I did wrong. nice fan. buttons on the wall switch (optional) and remote are small for the bright light. I recommend this fan if you do not mind easy to clean white and bright plastic.

Was great until a year later when it stopped working. Have never had a fan break before ( even after 20 yrs)
