My Little Library: Stories of Jesus (12 Board Books)

My kids (1&2y.o.) love these! These books give highlights of stories of Jesus’ life and condense them in a way that keeps kids interested.

GREAT GIFT!

1. These pages do a great job of summarizing the stories while keeping the message. Like the prodigal son: a man had two sons... one son asked for money and left... he spent it all on wild parties... when he returned the father welcomed him home... his brother was angry... your brother was lost and now is found...like the father in the story, God always welcomes us home again.2. It teaches less common stories of the Bible like the Wedding at Canna.3. There's not a shame factor that many other books (unintentionally) have. For instance, there's no "we do good things so God will love us" or "they didn't listen to God and you should or else." It has great inclusion of "because God loves us" messages.4. So short. So simple. So easily memorized by my 3-year-old. You'll be AMAZED to hear these wonderful messages repeated back to you, and you know the seed was planted.

This is the perfect gift for the little ones! My toddler loves these books and plays with them daily!

I purchased this board book set as a gift for a child who had participated in a parent – child dedication service at our church, where I serve as kids pastor. The board books are definitely sturdy, and should hold up through repeated usage with toddlers and preschoolers. The illustrations are beautiful and the messages help parents to begin to build a spiritual foundation for their children.
