We wanted to buy specifically a product with an external milk frother. The product was delivered last week, and I was very disappointed to see that the milk frother is not working. I‘ve tried multiple things, as advised in the manual (eg clean thoroughly, rinse with cold water), still the product does not work. Will return the machine and buy another product

This machine is the best. If you are a coffee lover than this is what you need. We first discovered Nespresso in Belgium during our travels and fell in love with it. 2 years later we decided to take a plunge and invest in this wonderful machine. The package comes with a variety of coffee pods so that you may try different flavors offered. The machine is super easy to use and cleans up very easily. The milk frother works like a charm!!!I have made plain espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos and they all turn out perfect.I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes coffee.One negative is that instructions where very basic and we had to do our own research on how the machine actually works and how to make different drinks. The instructions it came with are not helpful. Youtube was a wonderful resource that provided us with the final instructions on machine set up and drink making.

I had delonghi and it broke just under two years and it cost about $280 and it wasn't fixable. It took just under 5 minutes from start to cleanup. With this machine it takes about half that time. I really like the frother attached as it uses just one plug rather than two like some of the other models. Some complain about the milk not being hot enough but that depends on how much milk you put in, the less amount the hotter it'd get. The frother design is kind of ingenious as it has a small circular heating element that sits over a round metal protrusion at the base. When turned on the wheel spins and heats up and makes a very frothy milk, almost foamy but acceptable considering you don't have to babysit it. While it's going I then start the coffee which is nice that they can both be going at the same time! Clean up is simple, just rinse the frother and heating element and drop the pod in the onboard pod holder. I bought the extended warranty for $18 due to the very real potential for failure due to heart and pressure and my delonghi failing. The only negative is the cost of the pods (.7o cents or more) but there are getting to be more third party options available for about half that. Oh, I often use two pods, and run one through with a single and another with the double when wanting a larger drink.12/11/18 Update - almost 2 years later still working fine!

Good:This machine is so easy to use that it is a revelation after years with a traditional espresso machine (Gaggia Classic). Make sure the water reservoir is full. Drop a pod in. Press a button. Instant espresso. The frother is great too. Just make sure you don't over fill it, or watch the milk so make sure it doesn't slop out when whipping.Neutral:It only makes one shot at a time so if you are used to doubles, like we are, you will need to use two pods. That makes the coffee more expensive than do it yourself espresso. It's still a lot less than a coffee shop.Possible negative:We don't like any of the Nespresso coffees. We have been drinking arabica coffee for years and don't like the Nespresso blends. They use the cheaper robusta coffee like Folgers, which is sour to us.
