I have been wanting to get myself one of these BJD dolls for a long time and I saw this one and that she was under $20 so I grabbed her. She is even prettier and sweeter looking in person than online. Once I fluffed up her hair she looked wonderful. Her joints aren't quite as bendable as I though and it's hard to get her to stand up on her own. The reason I have taken away one star is because the description clearly states that you can change her clothes and brush and style her hair. Well, you really can't. Her pretty little hat is glued to her hair. I can't believe they would have done that. Fortunately I like her dress and her hat and I guess I won't worry about getting other outfits for her and just enjoy her as she is. I can recommend her as a beautiful doll for a really great price. Just know she has those limitations.

Luckily, I took the doll out of the box before wrapping it as a Christmas gift because the doll had a broken leg. The box it arrived in was faded and beaten up so I assume it had been returned already. I had to scramble for another gift at the last minute. Too expensive for such a fragile doll.

This doll is really cute, as pictured. I might repaint her but she's lovely as is though I did have a couple issues.The arms on mine are a bit stiff and aren't nearly as easy to pose as the legs. She looks like she has a slightly strange protruding collar bone or neck ligaments though that could work for the the grim repaint I might do. The head is not very posable which is disappointing. You can move it a little but given the range of motion in the body I expected more. You can't make her look up much. It's kind of the classic barbie design with the hard plastic body and the softer head that pops on but it's pretty stiff. Why they put handmade prominently on the dress I don't know. The hat is attached to her head but you can clip off the plastic anchoring it down. She has a lot of hair to play with but it shed a little and it's pretty thin along the back so an updo would take a little effort to conceal it. I did manage to get her to stand on her own but it was easier without her shoes.Overall she's still really cute and I can imagine a young girl or doll enthusiast enjoying a collection of these.

This doll has quite a few ups and downs, but overall, it is of pretty good quality and versatility. The high number of joints makes it expressive and able to move in many different ways, also allowing it to be a fun model for art projects. It does have a weird detail around the clavicle that looks strange and gaunt, but that’s the only truly strange quirk of this doll. Everything else looks good.The hair, unfortunately, came quite messy and tangled, even though I was expecting beautiful waves, and very gently running my fingers through it, I saw that it sheds a lot and quite easily, so I’m worried when I try to brush it to look better, I’m going to lose quite a bit.The dress is well-made and beautiful, though you can’t remove that weird detail that says handmade. It takes away from the complexity and quality to have that permanently there as a weird reminder.Overall, this doll is great, with a few little details that brought it down to 4 stars, a respectable high rating nonetheless.

This doll was a gift for my 8 year old daughter, and she LOVES it (see my photo of her holding it for sizing reference). The doll can be posed in many different positions, though some of her joints move more easily than others. She is absolutely beautiful, other than an odd, protruding collar bone (my daughter wants to find the doll a turtleneck shirt, lol). Her clothes are pretty and nice quality, and can be easily removed (except her hat initially, as it comes anchored with those little plastic anchors that clothing tags are usually attached to clothes with, but I clipped them with some nail clippers). I do wish this company sold clothing for the doll, as having a little wardrobe for her would make her even more fun for my daughter. We tried her 14 inch doll's clothing, but it is too big for this doll.Overall, my daughter loves her doll, and I am happy with its quality and appearance. I would not hesitate to order it again.

This doll is lovely. The quality is just so wonderful. It is just such a large step up from other dolls. My daughter loved it.This is a very adorable doll. My daughters really enjoy dolls, and they liked her a lot. I like that she comes with different accessories. It makes her more fun to play with. This is a good sized doll. It isn’t too big or too small so she can carry it along and it doesn’t seem overwhelming.I am pleased with the quality of the doll. My kids had no problems with her. She held up well to their handling.This would also make a very nice gift. My girls like getting dolls the best of all.She is reasonably soft. She looks just like the picture. I think the price was fair. I would recommend it.

Cute articulated joint doll. Good for children to play with. My daughters love. The quality isn’t quite what I’d want in my personal collection.
