If you want an elegant-looking frame -- that doubles as both classic and modern -- this is it. I initially ordered a set of smaller (3 x 5) frames from amazon exactly like this one. I was so impressed with those -- as were the recipients of the photos for which I used them -- that I ordered this one for an 8 x 10 photo that needed a frame. The frame is very sturdy; the metal is sleek-looking and has a nice coating on it; the "glass" is real glass, not plexiglass that scratches or gets discolored; and the back of the frame is velvet covered and allows for the frame to either stand on a table-top/shelf/dresser or to be hung on a wall. The price was good for the high quality of this frame, and it arrived very well packaged.

This frame is exactly what I have been hunting for. Who knew that it would be so hard to find? It is perfect for my son and daughter in law’s individual wedding pictures taken before the wedding. The size is perfect. I am very happy I finally found what I have been searching for!

Was looking for a decent frame without the overly thick edges I find most of the top selling ones on this site have, and so I gave this one a shot. For the price I was expecting a bit better build quality but is isn't terrible. Also I must mention that the "protective foam" layer that you are meant to slot behind the photo to keep it in place did not come sized correctly, so I had to cut it with scissors into the right dimensions. All in all I am happy with how it looks and will display it on my mantle proudly.

I thought I was getting a black frame. This is sort of mirror shiny metal black, not your typical black. If you're looking for something modern and shiny you might like this, but It looks out of place in my house. It was cheap so I took the chance. It will do for now until I can get out and see what I'm buying.

Cheap rubbish.

Perfect, light minimalist frames. Fit my photos perfectly. I used them in a wooden, velvet lined shadow box. Pulled the flaps off on the back from the hinge and used Velcro to attach it to the box. The frames are light in weight so it adheres perfectly. Love that this has a glass cover! I ordered both the 5x7 and 4x6 sizes.
