Something For Everyone
I am quite experienced at crochet and was very excited to get this book (for my birthday :) I was very pleased at how clear and concise the pictures and directions are - even a beginner will have no trouble making these sweet little animals. Unlike other amigurumi books, this one included lots of fun extras (like zookeepers and felt food) to make even better gifts or play sets. Although I already knew how to do all the stitches in the book (they are very clearly explained with pictures for those who do not), I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were several tips about tracing patterns, stuffing, and finishing that I was unaware of. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys crochet or would like to learn since it is a thorough teaching manual & contains many awesome animals.I can't remember if there is a list on the description but this book contains penguins, harp seals, walrus, polar and grizzly bear, panda, lion and tiger, rhinoceros, elephants, hippo, zebra, giraffe, primates (a whole bunch), kangaroo and joey, zookeepers (again, a bunch), and felt zoo food. The only way I think this book could have been better is if it were spiral bound so it would lay flat while you were following the pattern. Otherwise, it is an excellent addition to my crochet collection.

This book is excellent. I love the advance designs of all the animals. The shapes are not just round but have some shape to there features. The book is large and easy to read and follow. At the back there is Abbreviations and Resources information. There are lots of illustrations including front and back pictures of each project. There are instructions on how to do the stiches if you are a beginner. Lots of info. I would highly recommend this book.I would love to see another book from this author with the same advance features in the animals. Rabbits, dragons, dinosaurs, even bird (ostrich, peacock ) and butterflies. Lots to think about. My only suggestion to publishers is to spiral bind the books for ease of use.Note to Author.. Thanks for sharing your art.

Sweet patterns!!
Sweet book with really cute patterns that I couldn’t find any where else. Don’t misunderstand there’s lots of Giraffe patterns out there but not like the pattern in this book. Just download a “sample” of the book and I think you’ll understand what I mean. I purchased the Kindle version so I always have the book with me. And it’s cheaper too!!!

Great!
Love this detailed book on how to crochet! I only wish I could contact the author because it seems the instructions on making the legs for the zoo keepers are missing. Overall simple to follow and lots of detailed pictures to follow along.

Darling Animals
I've always planned to crochet a Noah's Ark set. These animals looked perfect. However, when I got the book, I found they were much bigger than I tho't they'd be. I guess I can change the yarn and hook sizes to make them smaller if I choose. They are darling animals and look quite life-like. Any one of them could become a kid's favorite toy.

Brilliant
I have crochet three of the animals so far and everyone just loves them. The expressions on faces are so life like you would think they were looking at you. Patterns easy to follow for me being from New Zealand. Our crochet stitches follow the UK when written. I long ago knew this so it has been easy for me to read the patterns. Only two I feel aren't quite right, Kangaroo and Zebra. Will still go ahead and make them though. Thanks to Megan for writing the book.

and other such like organizations.
Book was sent to a woman's prison that can knit and crochet. The books I send get passed around to the women (there is a crochet club) and a lot of the items they make are for charity, battered women, unwed mothers, newborns, and other such like organizations.

Great kit
This is a precious book, instructions are very clear and lots of photos. Megan is an awesome crochet designer. She designed a kit for Walt Disney. When I was having a little trouble with a certain pattern she was very willingly to help me via E-mail. She sent me additonal photos.

Very cute
This will keep me out of mischief for many a month! All the animals are very clever, lots of detailing and very true to life.A small point. I bought this reduced from Amazon, now I either didn't read the small print somewhere or there was none, but the book was reduced because the middle section of the book was loose. I glued it back in, but I'm glad the book wasn't a present.

visually brilliant!
Not many crochet books or patterns can compete with how wonderfully illustrated this one is! Alongside lovely photos of the finished pieces from all angles (something many other books don't actually include), there are detailed illustrations to help assemble the animals, with exact placements of stitches shown and all techniques explained. The patterns are suitable for a beginner (although some will require more patience than others as they have fiddly bits) but experienced crocheters like myself will find plenty to amuse them! I'm looking forward to taking this on my daily commute tomorrow :)

Coo Zoo
This book is crammed with loads of cute cuddly zoo animals and their keepers. By the end of January I'll have ten grandchildren and guess what they're getting for yule and probably their next birthdays as well? The patterns are clear and well written, its just a lovely book.

Zoo
This is a lovely book & I wish I had bought the paperback for the patterns much easier than tracing them from kindle! Patterns are simple to follow & are all lovely except the Zebra & he seems all out of proportion. Thoroughly recommend it.
