Multi-purpose storage
I got these to hold ear plugs, and they're a great size for that. I haven't had any problems with the container coming open unexpectedly. They're easy to open by pressing the bottom in gently at the latch while lifting the top. I've also used them for vitamin pills when traveling, and they've remained secure for that, too.

Only thing I didn't like is that the cover isn't "hinged" to the base. I'm not sure that was a claim or that I just assumed that. But still good enough for what I wanted.

Storage for jewelry pieces
I purchased these to store jewelry pieces. Such as extra earring backs and magnetic clasps for necklaces and bracelets. Works great and small enough I can put in my jewelry box or stand. Would buy again.
