These for whatever reason didn’t wake my saw up.

i have a old craftsman saw been use a lot one day was doing a floor job and the saw started smoking and stop order new brushes came in about 2 weeks later took me about 5 min ti install new brushes pulled the old ones out and new one went right in works like a new one

Am sure they work but problem wasn't my brushes but a beat up armature - not the fault of the brushes that they were destroyed in a few minutes.

brass tabs did not lock brushes in place,.This caused arcing and subsequent carbon traces, which actually melted the brush holders! This prevented the brushes from sliding in the holders and contacting the armature.
