Well done, but not as pictured. Heavier orangish dust color, base color appears gray.
I have both the 1:24 scale sized 1973 Ford Falcon V8 Interceptors from Greenlight. They are identical in all details except the weathered version, in my case it is well done but different and not as pictured, car looks gray with a heavy orange dominant color coating to simulate dust, and the car overall looks "pink" in color. They are well made, the doors open, and there are nice extra details I appreciated, I like the bronze badge on the side of the car, the side mirrors have "glass," reflective stickers, the white lettering on the tires, blue police light on the dashboard, steering wheel, and seats, engine detail, etc. I think this can be improved: The rear tires are the same size as the front but I think they're supposed to be staggered and larger than the front, and the engine seems to sit slightly too high. The muffler pipes are slightly incorrect too.My weathered version has a light coating of rusty orange-brown color paint to simulate dust and dirt on the entire exterior, turning the car from black to "light gray" color as well and giving the car a pink color overall. I'll give the weathered version 4 stars, the dust/dirt color is slightly misrepresented and heavy coating, but it's well executed and looks realistic for a dusty desert environment and is an artistic choice and not terribly off from some desert sand storm environments such as seen in Australia from about 2009-2010. Of the two, I prefer the unmolested version.I prefer the unmolested version ($35) and give it 4.7 stars and the weathered version ($30) 4 stars. Overall these are excellent, albeit not perfect, metal display cars to add my various collections and I'm glad to have them.

The Car
The car is very nice. A little to dusty but well worth the money.

Not like the pictures.
I chose the weathered version for my diorama model based on the pictures. It came almost totally orange, yes, orange. Not the light mud on the wheels and fenders. You cannot see through the windshield.

Well…, it’s different?
I’ve never purchased a pre-distressed or battle worn object before, but the price was low enough for me to give it a shot especially given that it was the V8 interceptor from a Mad Max title, so if it was garbage I could at least repaint it myself as a project.Well…, repainting will have to occur to some degree, as well as blower modifications to make it more realistic to the profile, but all in all I would say as a project car that you can tweak, you could do a lot worse, there are very few V-8 interceptors out there to play with, and this one is pretty much primed and ready to go for your modification enjoyment. For the price, I have to give it an endorsement.
