HornbyR7292 HM6000 App Based Analogue Control - Hornby Accessories for 00 Gauge Track & Train Sets - Compatible with Select Hornby Model Trains

I am building my first track for over 60 years , and I have found this app amazing.I love the control you have over two circuits/ two trains, going in opposite directions if you want.I enjoy planning my layout extension’s on the Track Planner, and I love the sounds you can play, steam, diesel or electric .The only downside is that the app uses a lot of battery power on my iPad so I have to charge-up more often.Highly recommended.

REQUIRES P9100 PSU: NOT INCLUDED. So zero use on delivery - would have added £5 to include but £20+ & postage to buy separately. Although, the Quick Set Up shows powering it from track with a DCC setup.So, it's fun for 5 minutes controlling wirelessly as you wander round and pretend the sounds you can make in the app are coming from the loco. I just don't really see why they didn't jump to a DCC version (DCC controls 1 analogue loco per). Does what it says, but really that useful for 1 loco or 1 regular layout (you can use multiple units and control multiple layouts from the 1 app, but still analog only or spearate tracks from each other).

Concept is excellent, but the app simply doesn't work. It crashes repeatedly when you try to scan. There was an update on 20th December which seems to have contributed to the problem. I have contacted Hornby and still waiting for a response (it is the holiday season in all fairness). I'll give them a week to advise, then be returning the controller and transformer for a refund. Frustrating...

I am forced to revise my initial positive review, after an update on 20 December 2023,the Hornby hm6000 app NO LONGER WORKS on android phones. Hornby apologizes for the " inconvenience" and that's about it. Why did they release the update that rendered the app useless? Do they care about the customers who invested in their system? If this is fixed, will they do it again? I am afraid it was way premature to rely solely on their app . Considering returning all four units for a full refund from Hornby directly.Pathetic.

Per chi non vuole digitalizzare le proprie locomotive, un sistema originale per controllarle e gestirle dal proprio telefono/tablet. Interessante anche la possibilità di riprodurre i suoni tipici della ferrovia. L'installazione può sembrare macchinosa la prima volta, poi tutto diventa rapido ed intuitivo.

Easy to setup if u know like I was lucky had watched a YouTube video about but it tries to mesh via Bluetooth mine did not work that way as others have complained but if u can’t get it to mesh go to settings and change to ble should connect straight away. A cheaper option for dc till u can afford or prep for dcc or this maybe enough hreat product
