Not NPT!! If you are using this on North American pipe, forget it.
This is not usable on US piping because it is not US pipe thread.(NPT) They have no taper to the threads.The best that could be said is that the sellers are incompetents.Buy your plumbing supplies elsewhere. Amazon has a huge fraud problem at the moment with pipe fittings.Four out of five of my recent fittings purchases from Amazon have been sold as NPT, but were not NPT. Save yourself the trouble and buy somewhere else.
