Brilliant product, very useful and handy. Illuminates the entire (fairly large) back garden when I let my dog out in the night. Seems sturdy and well constructed. Thank you.

They are great. I have a lot of powecuts where I live. They do exactly what they say

Pros Sturdy Bright light Clever design eg to hang it on something Downside 3 D batteries (not ones you will have already!) Expensive. Heavy if you are walking far Check out the 4th image for how the batteries should be inserted, and to go clockwise. I found it difficult doing that. I was using it in a bathroom, about 20 minutes daily (not using shower) and rusted after a couple of weeks. So not suitable for that.

Really strong light, perfect for camping and good when in bad weather such as fog. Does have adjustable light features such as a red like feature which can be useful too.

Amazingly powerful light for power outages in my case. Lights up my sitting room no problem at all. And I have to use the lower light setting. The main one is almost too bright! So all in all an excellent buy. And sitting close to hand waiting for the next power outage. Thanks

Must rank as a very good Emergency or camping light on the market, I Purchased Two, & Fitted them with Lithium Batteries, Not a day early, Power-cut following night, They are Robust, Compact & Very Bright, I can fully recommend this Lantern & seller

I keep one handy for power cuts! Recent work in my area, we have had a number of power cuts. Fuses blowing at the local substation! Anyway, from now on I will have this lamp handy. No more groping around in the dark trying to find the tea-lights. The light has just one switch, which you press to turn it on to cool light. If you then leave it for a little while a second press turns it off. If, however, you press it a second time within a few seconds of turning it on, then it turns to warm light. A third press and it goes to full power. A fourth and it's red flashing. It has a handle that you can carry it with. There is a small loop on the underside to hang it from a ceiling hook. Also, the entire top of the lamp twists off to reveal a small semi-circular lens that works well when the lamp is hanging upside down from a ceiling hook. All in all, very flexible and useful lamp!

Parfait. Cette lanterne a un éclairage très lumineux et l'avantage c'est qu'elle fonctionne avec 3 piles de type D, certe un peu plus onéreux que si elle possédait une batterie mais tellement plus pratique en cas de coupure de courant !!! Un petit conseil : pour bien refermer le compartiment à pile il faut APPUYER sur celui-ci puis le tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre. N'hésitez pas c'est celle-ci qu'il faut choisir.

I ordered this about 17 months ago. Still works great. I need a portable light lamp that didn't require me to hold, for my tool bag and this fit the bill. Good balance on light output, you can get brighter lights and weaker lights. More lumens means faster battery drain. So you have some pros and cons with that. I discovered these are very useful for temporary power outages, I had one last night and it prompted me to write this review. I used the amazon brand batteries with this and they worked fine. Observations: Its smaller than you would expect, but making it portable for easy storage in your vehicle glove box or middle console etc Batteries can be difficult to load (too complicated) Excellent value for the price Uses an uneven amount of batteries so with a pack of 4 you have 1 left over. Not much runs on a single D battery. Its sturdy dependable and reliable.

Funziona veramente bene anche come luce di emergenza in caso di guasti alla corrente.
