This light is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. I had the original type of sunset/sunrise lamps, and since they broke, I’ve had a very difficult time finding anything comparable. These lights absolutely fit the bill. No assembly is required; just take it out of the box, plug it in with the actual plug they package with it, not just a cable that you then have to find the pronged component for…big points for that! When I plugged it in, the correct time popped right onto the display! The instructions for use are so simple, they come on a small card.The design is clean and sleek looking, so I think it would fit into pretty much any decor, though most people (including myself) are interested in the functionality. I use the sunset feature for my birds after I tuck them in for the night. I can close the door after setting the sunset for 30 minutes, so they can have their snacks, drink some water, and get to roost before it’s fully dark in their room. I’ve only had it for a couple of days, but I love it! I am going to get one for myself. Highly recommend!p.s. You can set audio alarms with this clock, but I don’t use that feature. 😊

This is a great option for what it is. The quality of the overall materials, fit and finish is good. The quality of sound recordings and number of options calls for improvements. Also taking off one star for lack of ability to adjust device brightness of number display (sooo bright at night it keeps me awake and defeats purpose of purchase—should be on auto dimmer to be dim in the dark) and control volume (the nature of this design is to wake you gently but the audio alarms are…alarming). But I love the lamp part, so four stars.

Weekday vs weekend alarm. There is no way I have found to auto switch off weekends. Thus having to remember or else my weekend sleep in is ruined. Great besides that

I couldn’t talk myself into spending the money on a hatch unless I knew I would like some thing like this. Honestly at this point neither my husband or I feel like we need to get a hatch, this has been great! Instructions are easy to use/understand. Only thing I will say is that once you turn it off -it is off. So if you’re the kind of person that accidentally turned the light off and then goes back to bed you’re not getting another reminder unless you set one on your cell phone. Still, a much more relaxing and calm way to wake up. Great purchase!

I really like this little light up clock. It was super easy to set up and absolutely helps with waking up more timely and in a better mood. I hate getting up in the dark and struggle with it, but since this gradually increases the light, I'm now waking up in light. I kind of wish it didn't get quite as bright or allowed a brightness setting for the alarm and it doesn't seem to allow picking the color for the wake up option, but overall it's fantastic. Would recommend.

I got this as a Christmas gift and tried it for two mornings. I realized it's not the right setup for me.The only option for the sunrise wake-up function is the cold, bright white light. The colorful options only work when the lamp is in "table lamp" mode. They don't work for the bedtime wind-down function either. You're not going to wake to a warm glow. It's going to feel more like your laundry room.The sunrise portion has a 30-minute cycle. If you set it for 6:30 am, it will begin to glow at 6:00 am, rising to maximum brightness at the set time of 6:30am.On both mornings I woke up when the lamp began to glow at 6:00 am. I turned it off and got out of bed. However, on the first morning my wife told me that at 6:30 the lamp came on instantly to its highest brightness, waking her up. I tested and confirmed the behavior on the second morning.The controls are inconveniently located on the bottom of the device, meaning that I would have to fumble with the lamp to turn the alarm off. This also doesn't work well for changing the alarm time for different days of the week.Between the limited sunrise light options and the controls on the bottom, I decided to return the unit.
