BA II Plus Professional Advanced Financial Calculator

I bought this for my financial management course not really knowing why I needed it when I already have 4 different calculators that I have bought specifically for different college courses. I really only use it for the time value of money functions, but I can extrapolate that that function could be used for a lot of other problems. And that is only one function that I have used, when I'm sure that there is so much more that it can do! I had a few issues when I first started using it that were more operator error than anything else, but now it's great. Just read the instructions carefully; I missed one major step while I was reading them and got so frustrated that I almost chucked the calculator against a wall before I calmed down and read through them again.

Great at being a financial calculator! Easy to use and understand, does a broad range of financial calculations very well! Best investment ever for being able to make quick evaluation of potential investments, interest expense with loans, etc! As for what what is was meant to be, a financial calculator, avoid using it for "math". This calculator is a one trick pony; fractions are a headache and forget about equations with multiple terms.

The display image shown is a wrong color. The correct color was grey. The product is great works as expected and hasn't thrown up any brown bag issue yet.

Saved me in my FINA 3000 class

This calculator is easy to use which I love. I wish it had a cover and a small sheet of important key steps to remember like most Texas Instrument Calculators do.

Clean look and better buttons than the plastic version

The product is excellent, delivered on time.

Although in contrast to conventional calculators is very different (and maybe more difficult than a scientific HP?): I like the feeling when pushing the buttons, the design, the type of computing I can use for, etc.
