Best African Violet food
Highly recommend. I have been using this product for many many years. The violets continue to bloom year round constantly. My one tip is to water from the bottom. Place your pot with drainage holes into a larger saucer that you can leave for several hours depending on the size of your pot. It does not have to be drenched.

I really like the individual packets making it very easy to mix with a gallon of water. My violets have been flourishing all summer with blossoms.

Optimara knows what they're doing!
Sounds like there are a few different formats, judging from the reviews. The box I got had six little packets that each make up a gallon of fertilizer. My violets are in self-watering Oyama planters in an east window and I had been using Jack's without much noticeable difference. Most of my violets tend to produce a burst of blooms in the spring that then peter out. One strain was getting only water because it kept getting burned and hadn't bloomed in a year. About 2-3 weeks after switching to Optimara (late summer/fall here, north of the wall) the plants are LOADED with buds and blooms. Even the tricky one has nice healthy leaves and a ton of flowers. I dissolve one packet in a gallon water jug and keep it at room temperature, it's very convenient. Might be expensive if you have a lot of plants.

Great food for violets!
Our violets have always bloomed and grew very well with this product. We won't change from it.

This stuff is amazing!
This really works. I bought an African Violet a few years ago but it has NEVER flowered all these years. I knew I needed something, but it was low on my priority list in my busy schedule. But I finally bought this, and after only using it two times, this almost dormant plant has come alive and is even flowering!
