A Quality Bag
When my expensive briefcase/overnight travel bag handles broke, I looked online to find a moderately priced but nice alternative. The structure of this bag is perfect; fits my 14 inch laptop, papers, books, personal purse items, etc. and distributes the weight evenly when carried. Love the three zippered main compartments, padded laptop pocket, and inner compartments. The leather is really nice and will look even better with age. I appreciate that it has round metal feet on the bottom so as not to soil the underside of the bag when set down. The long strap doesn't twist when carried because the hardware swivels. I am 5'6", and the bag looks proportional to my body. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend! (P.S. I've never written a review before and was not paid for it. It's just a really good bag and worth the investment. And to the Kattee people, I'd buy it in dark brown, gray, or black if it were available on Amazon!)

It easily holds my wallet
This bag is fabulous. Especially for the price. I bought it for my summer associate position at a big law firm, and I have gotten so many compliments on it! It looks expensive. It easily holds my wallet, phone, keys, pens, laptop, binder, and folders, no problem. I even usually throw an extra pair of flats (shoes) in my bag for when my heels start hurting my feet! I love, love, love this bag.

Beautiful and spacious.
I've had to take some long trips lately and this is a very handy item to have. It holds a lot of things that are important for my trips out of town to a transplant hospital. I have a lot of compartments to handle paperwork, computer, notebooks etc. It fulfills all my needs.

She loves it!
This purchase was a gift for my wife. She finds it quite useful to place all of her work related documents in, and uses it daily. There is plenty of room inside and several individual smaller pockets. Three large compartments accommodate a tablet and several folders. The zippers and hardware are of good quality, and the workmanship is excellent.

Loving it
I was concerned when I ordered this bag because several of the reviews mentioned how heavy it was, but honestly I don't have any problem with it at all. I'm about 5'1" and not a gym rat by any means, but I certainly don't feel like this bag is any heavier than other leather laptop/briefcases that I've handled before. If you have back/neck/shoulder issues maybe you should opt for something neoprene, but so far I have no complaints about this bag. Spacious enough for notebooks/folders and my charger, a padded pocket for my laptop, organizing pockets for smaller items - pens, cell phone, etc. Will update if I have issues with it in the future.

Nice bag!
Nice bag. Room for laptop & iPad in the center. 2 extra zippered compartments for paper/pens/files and phone. Plenty of room for everything to fit in one bag without having to carry a computer bag and purse. Zippers are smooth and compartments open wide so easy to in/out. Strap is wide enough to feel comfortable on shoulder. I also like that it will stand up by itself.

Very nice bag. Good Quality
I really like this bag. It is stylish and the perfect size. I has 3 zipper sections with lots of space. Holds my 14" laptop perfectly in its own padded section of the bag. It is a bit heavy but you get used to it. My husband is jealous and wants one too. I search for weeks for a leather bag and initially wanted a leather backpack. This is way more elegant and professional. Would by again if they had it in another color like black or maroon.

Great quality for price
I'm a legal aid lawyer and honestly didn't think I could afford a bag this nice - it far exceeded my expectations. I rarely write reviews, and when I do, it's usually because I feel I've been swindled, not because I'm so happy with the product, but here I am. I don't care about labels, I just wanted three things out of my briefcase bag: 1) enough space for a laptop and several legal files - most of the briefcase bags made for women are just too small, 2) enough strength & durability to carry those things without breaking or wearing down the strap, and 3) genuine smooth leather of good quality that will develop a nice patina over time. With a budget of $80, I thought I would have to compromise on the leather, and tbh I thought that was probably going to be the case with this particular bag. On the contrary, I was as pleasantly surprised as some of the other reviews that persuaded me to give it a try.As some other reviews have mentioned, the shoulder strap on the brown bag reads as more orange than brown, but not so much that it doesn't look like part of the bag. I think the product photo is quite accurate; you can see the strap is somewhat lighter and brighter than the leather, but it's similar enough to suit me. I was more concerned with the strap's durability, because they keep breaking on me, and this one is definitely heavy duty. The middle compartment is the largest by far, with a padded laptop pocket and enough space for 2-3 inches of legal sized files plus the cord and wireless mouse for the laptop. The outer compartments are quite slim and really won't accommodate a legal file more than half an inch thick - I think letter sized files would fit much better - but that's fine, I just keep a couple notepads in the back one. The front compartment has several small pockets for pens, business cards, etc. Despite its size, it doesn't *look* nearly as bulky as lot of other briefcase bags. The simple design gives it a sleek appearance and shows off the leather, which looks far more expensive than it is. In general, I believe it's true that you get what you pay for, but there are a few exceptions and this is one of them. Highly recommend.
