I just don't get the bad reviews here. This product fits my HiKvision compatible turret cams perfectly. The 3/4 threads are standard threads because 3/4 caps from Home Depot fit them perfectly, despite what some reviews said in this forum. I didn't want a huge hole in the soffit, instead, I drilled a 3/8" hole just for the Cat-6 cable to fit through it then used a 1/2" conduit that I jammed between the soffit & the junction box with a little caulking, Alex plus. Even though the 1/2" conduit (6" Cantex offset from Home Depot ) loosely fits in the 3/4 hole initially, the caulk, once dried, provides a solid water proof seal. The gasket is a bit short. It doesn't completely fit the junction box. To make it fit, I suggest you make a small horizontally cut (partially) from one side of the middle hole to the end. This method will still keep the gasket partially intact, which allows you to easily stretch it to make it fit all around. Remember, it's the top of the junction box that's the most critical concern for water intrusion. This means if the gasket doesn't fit the sides & bottom snuggly, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Furthermore, to avoid potential water damage in case of water intrusion inside the junction box, wrap the connection between the cam & ethernet cable in a plastic bag inside the junction box & erect it vertically in the box. I used all the supplied materials; the screws & anchors work fine. This junction box works great for my turret cams despite the negative reviews. Don't let the negative reviews prevent you from trying this junction box. Remember, you can always return it if it doesn't work for your standard turret cams.

Used for Hikvision turret cameras I discovered didn’t support running cable into its side without a junction box; This box filled that bill and allowed for more space to store the waterproof Ethernet connections. Box is well built and the installation couldn’t be easier; All mounting hardware is included. My only wish was it was waterproof but it does have a drainage hole and I have the turrets under the eaves so water isn’t really a problem. Otherwise it’s a great piece of kit!

Great mounting base. I am using for a Hikvision DS-2332 Turret camera in a area that is much tighter and doesn't have as much wall space. The mounting base is sturdy and the color matches very well to the camera. It was extremely easy to mount with the included screws and I am able to easily place the extra Ethernet cable length inside of the junction box part. The mounting holes on the base match up perfectly with the Hikvision camera and provides a nice tight fit. I Would definitely recommend it to anyone for mounting where space is limited, or where you want to create a nice clean install.

It fits my DS-2CD2342WD-I properly and the paint looks exactly like the camera's. There is no weather sealing between the camera and the mounting base. While the fit is pretty flush, water could still get in. $6 more and you can get a model with weather stripping between the camera and the base.

I used these to mount a couple Hikvision turrets directly on a brick wall. Worked well for what I needed. Already have a drainage hole in them and all necessary mounting holes for drywall. I had to drill out holes for tapcons to mount to brick, but that was no big deal. Overall a great product. We’ll see how well they hold up in the elements, but I’m optimistic.

If HikVision made bases that you could actually tuck the cords in, this item would not even be necessary. That said, most home security camera enthusiasts will tell you that HikVision and Dahua make excellent cameras and I would have to agree. Most consumer-level security cameras are crap, but these devices are pretty nice. This base is well made (feels like aluminum), and the screw holes are perfectly aligned for the base of my HikVision turret camera. The base also comes with screws to mount your camera to the base as well as wood screws to secure the base to whatever surface you have in mind. Kenuco also includes a self-adhesive template you can stick to the surface so you can drill pilot holes accurately... nice touch. This base is deep enough so that the camera cable can be tucked into it without problem. There are 2 screw caps on the side where you can feed your cable as well as a center hole in the middle of the base, so you have lots of options to route your feed. My only quibble is that 14 bucks seems kinda steep for a camera base.

Well I was not going to review this product but this company has emailed me several times asking me too so I guess I will. These are complete junk. the cameras fit on nice but the threads for a pipe are horrible and its almost impossible to get any fitting on. will never buy again and stick to OEM hikvision mounts.

Perfect. You can expect me to purchase more of these. Clean look. The Hikvision brand of conduit mount it terrible and oversized. This mount allows us to hide waterproof connectors in the bracket without needing to drill a 3/4" hole on somebody's house our business.
