These are awesome. I used them for a helmet i 3d printed. I fitted them into the eyes of the helmet. Cant really see very well through them but cool effect.

It does its job. The lights are pretty bright and installation was super easy. Only problem I have( that was expected) was that it’s super difficult to see through it when the lights are on. You can see maybe 2 feet in front of you( if you’re in a dark place). During the day tho it’s not that bad

The light is super bright and definitely gives off the intended effect! With just the lenses alone, there is very good visibility, but your eyes do show through a bit. When I placed darker lenses behind the flexible LEDs, it greatly reduces visibility unless you're in a brightly lit area, but I prefer that trade-off personally. The LED did come unattached from the strip, but I just super glued those back in place. Overall got the job done!

Used for a iron man mask

Wow. We have been building replica movie props and costumes as a hobby for quite some time now. I have tried a few DIY light up eye lenses for my MK5 helmet. Nothing comes close to these. The flexibility of the material made it very easy to install it into the face mask. Also it was very easy to trim. The ease of shaping and trimming although does not mean it’s flimsy. It is maybe 3/16 to 1/8 thick silicone like material. The wiring seems well attached as well. You can clearly see through these when they are off but if turning it on in a dark room it’s hard to see out. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. My only recommendation would be to sell a version that does not have the battery box as I cut mine off to hardwire it to an arduino. Either way great product and will buy again.

First set was great, bright and could see out of them well. The 2nd set is tooooo bright, can't see out of it at all.

No need to worry about resistors, Voltage, soldering etc.... All done and ready to go! Looks great in the helmet I made. Will definitely buy again & again!

great for my iron man helmet

Used these in a 3D Printed Iron Man helmet I put together as a gift. Glued the eyes inside the helmet with a little crazy glue, added couple of magnets to install the battery pack inside the chin piece to allow for battery changes. Looks great, and easy to see through for the wearer (just slightly less so with the lights on).

We used in a helmet for a cross play. Was good but difficult to keep it in position, plus visibility was hard.
