Better Batter Premium Quality Gluten-Free Flour, 10 pound

Our family is just beginning our gluten free diet due to medical reasons. It is overwhelming to make changes to a lifetime of receipes. Nicole Hunn made recommendation in her cookbooks about benefits of Better Batter gluten Free Flour.I enjoyed using it. There is a learning curve when using gluten free flour. This is not due to this flour. Just receipes in general.Love the packaging of this product. You can also keep an eye out and catch a better price at different times.Ordering through Amazon Prime made this simple and easy.I highly recommend this product the extra advantage is the xanthum gum is already added and it is also allergy free in many other categories.I would also recommend if you are just starting out to check out Nicole Hunns Gluten Free on a Shoestring Budget and her Classic Desserts Cookbooks. Both are full of wonderful receipes and helpful hints from her learning the hard way and experimenting.

Better Batter is simply the best gluten free flour. We make communion bread for our church using Better Batter to make 4" rounds in tart/quiche pans and King Arthur Bread Flour to make a variation of chiabatta in round 8" loaves. The King Arthur version is extremely popular, so much so that we make extra loaves for those following the service who ask if there is any leftover bread. The interesting thing is the number of people of have said they actually like the Better Batter version the best, even though they do not require gluten free. We make extra loaves of the Better Batter version because of the requests for any leftover bread.

I've tried so many flour blends. And nothing performs like BetterBatter. Across the board excellent results, even with regular recipes. Easy to use, easy to get--what's not to like? Get it if you're a novice or a pro baker--it makes the gluten free life just like the gluten-full life.

This is a good blend that is easier than mixing your own. Can be used with or without yeast but, typical of yeast-free breads, isn't like bread made with yeast. Works well with all recipes calling for flour that I've made so far.
