Easy replacement that fit perfectly

Nice pieces but they were bone dry. I had to grease the shoe contact pads and pivot points along with the adjuster. If it came with that done it would be 5 stars, but that little bit of extra work gives it a 3. I was expecting a true ready to bolt on, but some finessing needed to be done.

Could only get nut half way threaded on top 3 bolts bottom 2 had to buy inch long bolts and nuts . brakes come with some weird press in studs less then a eight inch longer then plat bolting the to .

Product is great vendor is great. Fedex Lithia Springs needs an upgrade.

These brakes replaced a pair of 12X2 standard 5 bolt Dexter 023-105-00 (LH) and 023-106-00 (RH) brakes. I needed to replace all 4 brakes on my tandem axle 5th wheel. I wanted to start it right away and not wait for an online order so I found a pair at a local trailer parts store for $86 each. I got them and replaced the brakes on the front and began looking for another pair online. The next closest pair were $59 each side then I saw these. For $65 you get BOTH? Not Dexter by name anyway but worth a shot.So I installed 2 Dexter last weekend and these yesterday so I can do a legitimate side by side and I tell you there is virtually no difference. Same quality of materials and build, same heft, same brake pad thickness and texture, same connection, same everything. For $65 a pair I figured there would be at least some inferiority to the Brand name and there was none. Installed them, spliced the wires, adjusted them then did a check with the break away brake which locked them up perfectly and a check hooked to the truck with the trailer off the ground and it worked just like the Dexter brakes on the axle in front of it. I am tempted to go ahead and buy 2 more pairs and keep them in the shop for the next brake change in a few years. I am mad I wasn't patient and ordered 2 sets here to begin with because I ended up paying $180 for the front axle and $65 for the rear.

Good price point. Very fast delivery. These electric 12"x2" brake kits fit perfectly on my 2009 Carry-On gooseneck trailer's Dexter axles. Very easy to install. Trailer stops smoothly on a dime!

Wish either company I bought these from I could of bought from one place I needed 6 total. Just glad they were all the same and fit. They were all easy to install and work.

I didn’t use the back plate as the one on my Mobil home axle is welded on. But I was able to disassemble these and put them on with ease.Just needed to save the big spring on my old brakes and used on the new ones.I recommend this product it works great!
