Indusco16900126 4" Triple Wood Manila Rope Block with Hook, 1800 lbs Load Capacity, 1/2" Rope, 2-1/4" Sheave

The product is well-built and will work perfectly for our hoist/boom project. The only thing is that the rope does not slide well through the pulleys. There were wood burrs on the inside which caught on the rope. Had to spray on a dry lubricant so the rope would slide more easily.

I was taught to use a block and tackle when I was working for an architectural millwork firm many, many years ago. I then used the same equipment when working with rigging for the State Theater of Maryland a couple of decades later. These Indusco blocks are as sturdy and well-made as I remember. I couldn't be happier.

Worked well, but wood has rough edges where rope binds.

It's okay as a decoration piece but I don't know that I would use it for General use.

Use a pair of these to move an #800 car body up onto a trailer, alone. They worked very smoothly.
