Why is this card $6.50, when all other trading cards of the exact type have sold for$2.50-$3.98?

Hi Katie, There can be several reasons for this but I think a big reason it can be priced like that is because certain sellers are unwilling to either a) part with it so they deem it a higher value or b) because lots of times these cards appreciate with time and eventually the price of any given rare card will rise to that price and maybe the seller is comfortable with selling it at a higher price. Me for instance, will not match price because I don’t feel it’s worth my time to send a card for 3$

I don't believe the one I purchased was a fake however I don't know a thing about these cards. My grandson picked it out and he was happy with it when I gave it to him. Sorry I couldn't be further help.
