National Artcraft Pendulum Clock Movement Kit with Hands and 7/16" L Shaft Fits Dials Up to 5/16" Thick

Quartz movement is a nice replacement for the old mechanical one. The hands keep moving and it keeps time even if the pendulum is stowed for transport. In other words, the pendulum motion is just for effect. I was able to use the minute and hour hands, as well as the 16" pendulum from my old clock. The pendulum that comes with it is kind of junky (and the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5).

I needed to replace the "clockworks- as the previous "motor" stopped working. It's a good replacement set up ! & at least it's instructions inform you to use "carbon zinc" batteries too ! (Others can & will "burn out " the clockworks !)

Easy to install, but then stopped because the minute hand was rubbing against the glass. That was easy to fix with a cardboard spacer between the clock works and the back of the clock face.

Worked great and assembled easily.Keeps perfect time. An old clock long missed from the wall is reborn and given new life with this wonderful do it yourself product!

Were able to fix our pendulum wall clock to our satisfaction. Saved us having to purchase a new clock.
