Silent and very powerful 700W in a SFX-L form factor power supply.
The Silverstone SST-SX700-LPT-USA is a great 700W power supply. Its a completely modular power supply and the cables are easy to work with. I used this particular model in an ITX build paired with a 10700k and 2080 Super graphics card. The power supply was able to handle the power requirements of the cpu and gpu just fine. One thing the buyer needs to note is the fan within the power supply will not spin on turn on. The fan only comes on when a certain temperature is reached within the power supply. So its very silent. And only comes on when I game. But then I can not even hear it. Everything was in the box i needed and came very well packed.

(Silverstone SFX-L) For when "Go big or go home" doesn't apply
This will be my first time building a mini itx computer making it my third pc build. Wanted to maximize space and increase airflow so choosing a SFX power supply in my mind was a no brainer. The reason for choosing this power supply was based on the original case I had in mind for this build which was the Silverstone ML08B-H. Loved the slim design and the fact that it had a carrying handle. However I decided to go with a Cooler Master Elite 130 do to its support for all in one liquid coolers and better airflow. Even after changing cases I already had my mind set on this awesome little power supply. It also comes with an adapter to mount on an ATX case so it will fit just fine in the Elite 130 case. I'm use to using power supplies that come with sleeved cables however I am glad it came with flat cables so it is easier to work with inside cramped spaces. If you are building a mini itx computer I highly recommend this power supply by Silverstone. Small form factor without having to use a smaller fan Included mounting bracket Flexible Black Cables Fully modular for easier upgrades and maintenance. (Used non modular power supplies and will not go back) Zero RPM fan for silent operation And of course the pimpin snowflake on the fan grill

Solid PSU!
So far this power supply has been super solid. No issues after a couple of power outages, and seems to put out consistent power. Easily powers high end hardware with no unexpected shut downs. Only negative I have with this thing is the whining. You can here it depending on the power draw, a high pitch whine coming from it. It doesn't bother me, because I usually have headphones on most of the time, but just something to be aware of. Overall, happy with my purchase. I have always trusted Silverstone power supplies and actually have one 10 years old that's still going strong.

SOLID SFX-L Power Supply
**Pros** 500W capacity 80 Plus Gold Relatively quiet fan (even without the zero RPM fan mode of the v1 version) Flat black cables 100% modular **Cons** Slightly larger SFX form factor (130mm doesn't leave much room in my FTZ01 for dealing with the cables) **Other Thoughts** The V2 of this power supply doesn't really have much different than it's original counterpart. The main change with the V2 version is the removal of the Semi-Passive fan mode of the v1. There were several complaints about the fan making a "grinding noise" and some buzzing as well but this issue seems to have been severely reduced with the V2 PSU. Overall this is a very nice small power supply. It is a bit larger than the standard SFX form factor so that is definitely something to keep in mind, however as a result they were able to slap on a larger 120mm fan which definitely helps keep this thing cool and quiet. This is a solid little power supply with 80plus gold efficiency that gets the job done.

This is by far the best small form factor power supply I have used
This is by far the best small form factor power supply I have used. Using this in an Ncase M1 V3 and it fits well with long GPUs. The power supply itself is completely off at idle, and then when it does turn on it is silent from a foot away. It should be noted that there is a slight galloping/clicking sound that comes from the fan when it is on, but I can only detect it if I place my head right next to it. At normal loads with the CPU the clicking is too faint to hear from 1-2 feet away and at full load with a reference GTX 970/980 it is completely inaudible.

Bad product, bad service.
Well, this has been a disappointing product from SilverStone AND the first time I have received sub-par service from Amazon. When paying 2 to 3 times what you would for a typical component you expect something top-notch and trouble free. The whole purpose of this power supply is to provide a larger fan with less noise. The first one I got made a ticking noise when starting up (it cycles on and off based on your system load) and then would occasionally make a moaning noise while it was running. I ordered a replacement after the first day. I received the replacement quickly but I could tell from the beat up packaging that this was most likely also a return that was being shipped out as a replacement for my defective unit. It even had a bracket from a prior system still attached to it. I installed it and once I got the load up to where the power supply would turn on it starting making a whining noise but wouldn't spin. I gave it a little nudge with a screw driver and it started to spin but would again make occasional noises. Needless to say I'm requesting another replacement and will keep doing so until they make it right.

セミファンレスではないという情報だったが 実際に使うと変換効率が高いのか排気熱は少なく、ファンも静かなので騒音は気にならなかった。 昔のSFX電源みたいな爆音ファンではないです。

Fitted perfectly in my case and the cables provided are of a good length

Funciona perfecto, el tamaño pequeño es perfecto y aún mejor por la potencia que tiene.

This power supply is one of the larger ones to use if you have a 3080 and a Lian Li O11D Mini. The flat cables included from Silverstone are really good at keeping everything inside. The noise level when at load or in a high graphics demanding game is actually annoying. The model I purchased was the V1.1 and the box also states that its a V1.1. For reference, people have stated the coil whine on the V1.0 was present. It seems to be the case as well for my power supply. I expected no coil whine for a power supply at this price level. There are other brands that don’t have coil whine, but these other brands also don’t have SFX-L power supplies that go up to 1000W. I don’t notice the coil whine if I have a headset on and if I crank up my computers fans, which I have to so the 3080 is cooled properly. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the purchase. I just wish the coil whine wasn’t there so the computer isn’t whining while I have family members in the area or guests in the area.
