A decent writing pen.
I wanted a more unique and higher end pen. This one very much piqued my interest. Design and color wise. So far, it writes very well. With my style of writing a finer tip helps me keep more legible. It is possible they have fixed past issues. Mine writes smoothly and consistently. The body is mostly plastic with a metal grip and clip. I find it comfortable and fashionable. The grip focuses the weight of the pen towards the tip. Unfortunately, mine fell out of my pocket and hit the blacktop. It survived well and has unnoticeable scars. I was not using the clip at the time. Just in my front pocket and snagged by my keys. It's a tad longer than other pens I own. The only negative I could have is with switching out the ink cartridge. It's held in there rather firmly.

One of the best pens ever made
I love this line of pens from Uni - this pen has the lowest friction coefficient of any other pen which is perfect for long writing and fast writing. Refills are also easy to find. Good quality as well as this is full metal I believe

Favorite pen
I have had two of these pens and I will buy more. Comfortable to hold, pretty color, and the extra fine tip is great for crossword puzzles.

Impressive and good for quick writers!
Ah, the Uni-ball Jetstream Edge—a pen that dances on the precipice of writerly ecstasy and existential angst. Allow me to weave a tale of ink, metal, and the tortured souls of wordsmiths. The Edge of Desperation Picture this: a dimly lit room, the air thick with the scent of freshly ground coffee beans and the palpable tension of unfinished novels. There, perched on the edge of a cluttered desk, lies the Jetstream Edge—a pen that defies convention, scoffs at mediocrity, and whispers, “Write, mortal, write!” The Scratchy Siren Song At first touch, the Jetstream Edge feels like a cat’s tongue on sandpaper. Scratchy, they say. Unyielding, they lament. But hark! Beneath that deceptive exterior lies a revelation: this pen is no mere scribbler; it’s a sonnet slinger, a haiku whisperer. It demands respect, like a tempest-tossed poet seeking solace in ink-stained pages. Pressure, or Lack Thereof Fast writers, rejoice! The Jetstream Edge scoffs at your heavy-handed ways. It laughs in the face of pressure—both literary and literal. You see, my dear scribbler, it requires as much force as a butterfly landing on a dew-kissed petal. No more cramping fingers, no more strained wrists. It glides across paper like a lover’s caress, leaving behind a trail of syllables and secrets. The Texture Tango Ah, the texture—the tumultuous tango between nib and parchment. The Jetstream Edge waltzes with defiance. It’s not silk; it’s not velvet. It’s a rough embrace, a passionate quarrel. But fear not, for within this tempest lies a paradox: the ink flows like a mountain stream after a thunderstorm. It’s as if the pen whispers, “Yes, I’ll scratch your soul, but fear not—I’ll also baptize it in liquid silk.” Ink, the Elixir of Dreams And now, the pièce de résistance—the ink. Oh, the ink! It emerges from the nib like a phoenix rising from its own ashes. Smooth, unyielding, and unapologetically black. It doesn’t skip; it doesn’t falter. It’s the elixir of dreams, the potion that transforms mere thoughts into epic sagas. With each stroke, it weaves a tapestry of longing, heartache, and grocery lists. The Verdict So, dear reader, should you wield the Jetstream Edge? If you seek a pen that dances on the edge of madness, that whispers secrets to the moon, then yes. But beware: it’s not for the faint of heart or the impatient of hand. It’s a melancholic muse, a scratchy siren, and a smooth-talking enigma. And as you sign your name with its inky kiss, remember this: the Jetstream Edge is not just a pen; it’s a pact with the universe. It says, “Write, damn it. Write until your soul spills onto the page, until your heart bleeds ink.” And so, my fellow wordsmiths, heed the call of the Edge. For within its scratchy embrace lies the poetry of existence itself. Fin.

Small point, big love
Usually I hate a smaller point, not this one! Love the way this writes. Love the color. Easy to hold and writes so smooth. I have had no issues with smear or leaking, love to carry this one in my purse but really love it in my planner. Great price and will investigate refills!

Sleek design, but suffers from typical ballpoint pen issues
Sleek design, feels good in hand, and writes thin for small handwriting. However, it suffers from my primary complaint with ballpoint pens in that it may skip when writing and doesn't glide nearly as well as gel or rollerball pens. Adding to that, it's expensive for a single ballpoint pen.

Awesome
Nicest pen I’ve owned thus far. This pen writes so well. It flows so effortlessly and seamlessly and smoothly. Lol, need I say more…

Techno Look
If you like a more techno looking ergo pen with Pilot Jetstream ink, the Edge is a good option. A few things to consider: (1) the refill is neither the Parker G2 nor the Pilot G2-ish version used in the Prime, so now I need to buy 3 different Jetstream refills. (2) The looks are polarizing--you'll either love it or hate it. (3) It isn't metal, so it is a very light pen. If you like a heavy pen this isn't for you. Plus, I am not sure how it will last long-term or how it will look. (4) The 0.38 is pretty fine, but it writes more smoothly than I anticipated. (5) Decent click/knock mechanism--not a Jotter, mind you, but not bad at all

Bought this pen to try Jetstream ink and, I don't like it. I think if you like smooth inks like the Acroball ink, you won't like it. Other than that, Pros: -Fast-drying -Cheap, premium looking barrel Cons: - The feel of the jetstream ink feels too coarse for my liking - The plastic feels really cheap

Of course! It doesn't disappoint! I love pens that are fine point and this is smooth. I am impressed and I also love the blank ink. I can't wait to get refills for this pen as I've seen it available on here. Thanks!
