Best sapling puller ever
We love how this tool pulls up tree saplings that come up all over our yard. Without it, we would have trees everywhere. I do wish there was a spring so it would open up easier.

Love these!
These are great for grabbing weeds and pulling them! They are sturdy and I've used them for other things in the house!

Great for removing prostrate knotweed!
I had a lot of prostrate knotweed growing in my lawn which couldn't be removed with my fulcrum weeder or by hand. It seemed hardware, needle nose pliers might do the trick, so I tried that, and it worked well, but I had to clean the tool of all the dirt on the end of it. I decided to order Lawn Jaws since that tool has a lot of teeth on it, which is what I seemed to need to yank out a prostrate knotweed. The tool works well to remove most all of the knotweeds; some are stubbornly fixed in the ground. I found Lawn Jaws also removes dandelions and other weeds, though sometimes using the fulcrum weeder first, and then using Lawn Jaws helps to remove the entire root without having the top break off from the root. Also, removing weeds a day after it rains works better, overall. The only negative I have for Lawn Jaws is they accumulate a lot of dirt in between the teeth, and need to be cleaned periodically for best results.

Nothing special
I was hoping for a better gardening tool, something larger, with a spring action, and chunky teeth to grip the weed. Nope, this is just an over priced needle nose plier.

Pretty great for pinpoint weeding
Great for weeding tasks when the weeds are in densely planted locations where it would be difficult to guide a more conventional weeding device. It rarely slips off the weed top once grabbed, (though it still can). It works best when extra time is taken to grip the root below ground.

Lawn jaws
Lawn jaws can pull the large weed only. for small ones, only the stem is pulled and break. The roots remaon there because the teeth are too deep that it cuts the smaller weed.It works fine for large weed or the shallow roots.

Good concept, not particularly well implemented.
Cheaply made, jaws quite tight to open/close and don’t open all the way due to poor manufacturing. Chrome plated steel will rust in time. Parallel action jaws would be better than these as it just grabs the weed at the top.
