I love it! I get comments on how cool it is all the time! The opening is on the opposite side of the opal stone. And it’s it’s just a ring with a slit. So I pushed the two ends as close as possible. I thought it would have fallen out my now since nothing holds the two ends together. But it is still staying strong.

The earring itself is cute. But it feels flimsy and once bent, it does not shut again entirely, leaving my ear to be scratched.But worse - despite the claim that it will not cause an allergic reaction - within an hour of putting it into my top piercing..I had an allergic reaction that caused swelling of my cartilage piercing (not a new hole, it's 17 years old) and I had to have a professional piercer remove the jewelry due to swelling. So I'd avoid if you're sensitive.Also small gripe - I didn't receive a jewelry box with it.

Nicely packaged in plastic, attached to cute card. Nice SOLID sterling silver ( I know because I cleaned it with my buffer and it did not reveal copper). Little dainty opal ball is very nice! Opened as easy as you would want it too. Any easier and if it were to get caught it would open unnecessarily. I got mine to line back up and close almost completely! May order another! Finally found a cartilage wring I can sleep comfortably in after 25 years! THANK YOU!

This is literally the worst design. Have you ever seen an open loop jagged metal cartilage earring? Why can't it be a screw ball like every other cartilage hoop!? I scraped a chunk of my ear just trying to get the darn thing in. It says don't pull apart the gap but thats the only way you will ever get it in. And now trying to bend it back together. I expect it will last no more than 24 hours before it falls out and gets lost forever. Pretty? Sure. But highly impractical and extremely frustrating design. Don't waste your money

I was not able to get the earring on. I followed the directions provided but was not able to get it to work. I read other reviews before making my purchase that said the same thing and I thought I could figure it out but I’ve given up on it. I would not recommend!

It arrived bent to hell. I thought it was one smooth ring but it's just an open hoop that you have to twist into place. Looks like some one already pulled it apart instead of twisting open. Still it was cute and affordable. Just not keeping it.

This little hoop is well made and beautiful. I bought one for my cartilage. Just a little pinchy where the hoop closes but a quick squeeze with a pair of pliers fixed that. I will be ordering a larger set for my ears to match.

I ordered 1 for my cartridge (like in the pictures) when I got it I thought it looked to small, but it would look cute in my treguss so I never opened it and just ordered 1 more to have a matching set. I put them in tonight and the metal is soooo flimsy they don't stay closed. The pictures look like the ball comes off but it does not! They just bend open then have a small gap no matter how much I try to close it. They are cute but not worth the cost.
