i counted and weighed the contents of the bottle i received. 312 flints at 38 grams - more than advertised. it would cost $60-$70 to buy this many zippo brand flints. there are gold, silver, black, blue, magenta and plum colors. i would estimate that 50% are gold and then about equal amounts of the remaining five colors. they came in a tiny bottle with a screw on top. the bottle was sealed inside a metallic looking ziploc bag. a nice surprise was the zippo type dispenser (the one with the red dial on top that dispenses one flint at a time and holds six flints - so actually 318 flints were received) that was included. i have tested these in a zippo, kiribi and vintage maruman (old boy style) lighters and they all have worked as well as the original flints the lighters came with. they are about 1 mm longer than zippo flints, so theoretically will last longer. the added length makes it slightly more difficult to screw on the spring loaded flint retainer. these will last me a lifetime.

I bought these for my Zippo Classic. They work perfectly and are way cheaper than Zippo-branded flints.

As other reviewers have pointed out, these wear down a bit faster than name brand flints. They also leave a lot more soot build-up. I have occasionally but not often, gotten a large chunky spark that can be dangerous enough to burn your skin or flammable material nearby, so always keep your eye out for that when striking the wheel. I'd say it can happen once every 20-30 flints or so. Despite this, it's a good deal if you want to exchange those issues for a lower price.

First Impressions: That's a lot of flints! The value here is quite good in terms of quantity. Nice little metal box for the flints although it's definitely easier to dump these on the floor by accident than the Zippo flint dispenser. In use: It fits, it makes sparks! It's only supposed to do one thing and it does it. No surprises there. Overall a great value. I'm now set for flints for a loooong time.

Perfecta opción para mis Clippers. Tendré fuego por muuuuchos años, excelente precio y opción para evitar el asalto a mano armada que cometen en Sanborn's con las piedras Zippo. Seguro que volvería a comprar, claro... ...quizá en unos 10 años... :)
