The strength of the smell is pretty insane: I could smell it as soon as I picked up the box it was shipped in, and I was more than aware of it when I put it in the storage area at home. I was a bit worried that it would give me headache if I use it on bedsheets. But it actually mellows down after washing, loses its chemical sharpness and becomes very fresh and way more subtle.

I love this product., I've been using it for many years, the sad thing is it's not available in the supermarket 😢. It goes better with Downey liquid in the wash. It smells awesome value not so good as I said not in store cost a little bit more from amazon but once you buy you'll not stop.
