Comfortable
Great product that works as intended! This sock does an amazing job of keeping my foot in the right position at bedtime and is much more comfortable than the bulky brace I used to wear. Since it only covers from the ankle down, it feels natural and less restrictive. The quality is excellent, but I did find the toe area a little tight, which can press on my toe and cause slight discomfort after long use. Overall, it’s a great alternative to traditional braces and much easier to wear! Would definitely buy again.

Ineffective for plantar fascia stretch
This brace looked like it would be good for plantar fasciitis. A very similar one was demonstrated by “the two most famous physical therapists on the internet” youtube video. It was easy to put on and adjust the strap. For the limited time I had it on to test the product it was comfortable. I can’t speak to the overnight wear as I didn’t wear it for that long. For me the brace just didn’t provide an effective plantar fascia stretch. The brace naturally pulls back on your big toe which helps stretch the arch. However, even though my toes were stretching, my foot was not really being pulled into enough dorsiflexion to provide adequate stretch. When I adjusted the strap tighter it tended to just pull the sock further off the toe area. So my search continues for the perfect PF brace!

Good brace. Just didn't fit me right.
There are no easy solutions when it comes to plantar fasciitis. You have to do the work. Stretch your feet every morning and after periods of immobility. You have to wear insoles. But braces at night can do a lot to help. To prevent the plantar fascia from tightening and shortening. In my opinion, there are three options. Hard posterior braces (boot), soft socks, and hybrids like this trying to give the support of a boot but the comfort of a sock with anterior bracing. The goal is the same, to keep you from pointing your toes as you sleep and letting the plantar fascia shrink. You don't need to pursue crazy acute angles, just keep the foot at 90 degrees. Thats why these socks and hybrids work so fine. They allow you more movement intentionally but won't let you completely rest your foot. The hard posterior braces work the best but for many they are clunky and too uncomfortable to wear all night. It drove me crazy and so I didn't wear it, and didn't get better. For the socks and hybrids approaches I urge you to try several and find what works for you. No solution/product fits everyone. I've found the it's the small differences in sizing and positioning of components between brands are what make for a success or failure. Thats why you see in the reviews everyone loves or hates a product. It all depends on how it fits them.I really liked this brace, but ultimately it didn't work for me. The toe box was too big on my foot so it was loose. And I felt it just hyperextended my toes more than my foot/plantar fascia. It was very comfortable otherwise. If you have a bigger foot I think it would work well. Like I said, you just have to try different braces and find the one that fits you the way you need.

Worthless
Pros: Great idea, but poorly designed and implementedAppears to be well constructed in terms of stitching and materialCons: Bad implementationBad sizingWon’t stay on your footObviously not testedI did reach out to the seller/manufacturer first. Their response was basically “meh”.First of all it doesn’t fit. The sock part that your foot goes into is fine but the ankle strap is way too long. For a “medium” the minimum ankle circumference the strap will fit is 10 inches and my ankle at that point is 9 inches. So when I put it on I cannot get the ankle strap snug enough to hold the sock properly on my foot. The sizing chart indicates the largest ankle size that the strap will fit, but not the smallest. Second issue is the tension strap; the strap that pulls on your toe; which again is way too long relative to the sock. Even using the strap in the “extra tension” mode the strap still attached at the end of the Velcro. Then there is the sock itself. The inside is the same ultra-smooth nylon as the outside. There is nothing to keep the sock from sliding off your foot. Pulling in the tension strap pulls on the toe of the sock which pulls the entire sock off your foot; IF you pull on the strap to the point it is applying tension; but at that point there is no way to attach the strap. I’m quite sure this would not stay on a person’s foot through a night of sleep and one wouldn’t get a good nights sleep because they would be waking up throughout the night to put it back on.Maybe a size “Small” would work better for me, I don’t know, but as I said the manufacture was really not helpful.I was really hopeful about this product, but it is horribly designed and the manufacturer is no help about what to do. Maybe the factory simply didn’t grasp what the designer was trying to accomplish. Either way I’ll look elsewhere.

Saved me
Walked 2 miles a day for a decade, then bam, foot problems, could not walk. Eventually went to foot MD. He diagnosed m y problem and gave me two cortisone shots and sold me a brace for $60. Neither helped. Went back, sent to therapy. Did therapy, ultrasound and home exercises. Did not help. Went fishing in Canada and say by a guy in the dining hall who asked why I was limping. Told him and he said I needed one of these. Bought one when I got home. Fair amount of pain about an hour into wearing it each of the first few times. About 5 days into wearing it for an hour or so 3-4 times a day the pain wearing it was gone and so was the pain walking. It healed me. My pain was in the arch area in the bottom of mt foot. Felt like a bump there and it hurt to stretch tendon out. Got cramps at night in bottom of foot also. Had this 2 weeks and all problems gone. Walking again.

Not for me
My toes kept going numb in the nighttime. It would wake me up it was so uncomfortable. I tried adjusting the strap to see if it would help but never really did. Quit wearing after a few nights, but I couldn't return it since I clipped the velcro to make it fit as per the directions. Material is comfortable and breathable.
