The product is ok but quite weak when extended. When not extended it works well.

I browsed many products and I knew that the price of this item meant it couldn't be of any value or decent quality....I was right, the telescopic pole is dented already in 2 places I suspect due to the plastic bag packaging which is a wonder as amazon products normally come over packaged..... The button only works if the handle is extended out of the way of the button to open the net and fix in place. the net is held in place with a cable tie wrap that's not been trimmed. Mid-part of the telescopic handle had a course edge that needed filing to smooth it off and make it glide better with a bit of oil to lubricate. Overall good enough for a kid to play in the water with....though I doubt it will last the season.

Arrived damaged, partly because the aluminium tubing is so thin and got crushed in transit.I only want it for occasional use, so will keep it - however I doubt it would stand frequent usage. However, it was the cheapest so I guess you get what you pay for.

This is very light weight & is O.K. if you only net the fish, but it has a weak point where the net joins the handle, and mine broke off when I picked up some weed & sludge trying to scoop up a fish. I accept that this was my over zealous use, but be aware of it's limitations.
