Exactly what I was looking for!

I have multiple health conditions which contribute to hair loss and recently buzzed it all off. With about a centimeter of hair, I learned that you can still get bed head 😅 I read several articles about boar brushes and decided to get one. It’s very soft and gentle on my scalp, and “fluffs” my hair back into place so it looks more even. The soft bristles also make it to where I can massage my scalp to help increase circulation to stimulate growth. Not sure if that will work (due to chronic health conditions), but it still feels good!

Serviceable, but not as good as previous Dianne Boar Bristle Military Brushes. Bristles fall out every day from this brush, whereas they never fell out of previous brushes.

Yep, I bought it for brushing one of my cats. ;) She's very sensitive about anything near her ears and head. Other brushes I use have handles, which makes it awkward to get in between her ears and around them without her struggling. This brush fits my hand perfectly, and with no handle, I have a lot more control, so can brush very delicately. On the rest of her body, I can use it briskly and with more force, like grooming a horse. She's a shorthair, but has a double-thick, very dense coat, and this brush has no problem getting down through the fur to her skin...but doesn't scratch her. I haven't experienced any bristles falling out yet, and I've had it since early June. It may not be made for brushing cats, but it's great for this. Excellent brush, good price, and a lot less fur floating around!

I was looking for a soft brush for my 20 year old cat, and this is perfect. This is not a pet brush, and I think it would work on a person with fine or thin hair. I am happy its soft as described, and my cat likes it.

I was sceptical, but six brushes did indeed arrive for the low price they're advertised at. They're a bit scuffed, but not enough to care about if they're for yourself. I bought them to hand out to those in my circle with beards to give them a chance to experience boar bristle care without shelling out a small fortune, which I will do despite the imperfect finish on the paint. If they like it, I'll invest in proper brushes for actual gifts. :)
