VES Ceiling Fan Controls (2.5 Amp Variable Speed)

I gave the 3-star rating because I installed this product approximately 4 years ago in a garage that gets very limited use and it failed a few months ago. I bought the same product again because the fans are VES too, but am disappointed that the original controller did not last longer.

I ordered 3 of these switches and only received 1 of them.

This switch goes perfectly with our new VES kick ass fan! We can select how fast or slow we want instead of having 3 choices of low medium or high. It was easy to install. There are only two wires and our house wiring didn’t exactly match but we figured it out.

Does what it is supposed to do but I do get a hum in the 3 outdoor fans. So I leave it on high all the time and control the speed with the fan pull chains. So for me, a switch would have been just as good.

Works great, if you wire up fans like I did, use a 12/3 or 14/3. You need the red wire for reverse . Also I bought two switches for two fans but all I needed was one switch because it can control two fans by itself

I installed a Dayton fan in my garage. This controller is identical to the Dayton controller at a 3rd of the price.

Does not work with Canarm Fans

We had purchased a very similar switch at first, but it didn't have the proper wire layout to work with our VES fans. This switch worked perfectly.

ONLY 4 WIRES INSTEAD OF 5 AND DOESN'T WORK AS ICFCFR5... EVEN IF LOOKS THE SAMEAS FAN WAS BACK ORDER FOR A WHILE AND I DELAYED TO INSTALL... SELLERS DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE IT BACK...DON'T BUY : IT DOESN'T WORK AS CAN ARM IS... I REPLACED WITH CAN ARM AND WORKS PERFECTLY...
