The dishes are just what I needed. The are very durable.

I had stoneware and loved it but as I aged it got harder to put up and get down in the cupboard, especially if I had to lift more than one.I bought these and they are beautiful, perfect number I need. They go in the microwave and dishwasher so are functional in that sense.

I looked for a long time to find something I liked. I definitely needed something that wasn’t too heavy. Also, design on some dishes were too much. Most of the dishes I could find were either 4 place settings or 8 place settings and heavy. I was specifically looking for 6 place settings that could easily be expanded to 12 place settings in the future. Another feature I was looking for was no coffee cups. I have rarely used the coffee mugs from dish sets because they are usually too small. Corelle dishes is what I wanted. But when I found these I had to have them! They are shatter resistant but I haven’t tried confirming that. I love the minimalist design as well. So all points addresses with these dishes. Very pleased.

White collar cups are nice value for money

These plates looked very nice and simple.For durability, we had one break from probably a 3ft drop. I don't think that's necessarily bad, but we've dropped other plates far more times without them breaking.What we didn't expect was that trying to cut anything on one of these plates has a high chance of producing that awful squeaky scraping noise. The slightest slip of the knife and it will happen.Many people might not care about this issue, but it's a big deal for us. If you have any sensory issues with that type of high pitched squeak sound, like nails on a chalkboard, I would avoid these plates.
