Works as described. My chip was a pin head sized divot with no cracks, so I didn't need to use the syringe, applicator, etc. The resin, razor blade and the covering piece were enough to do the job. My luck, I got the kit and it was cloudy and late afternoon. I stupidly decided to see if it would cure at all in the waning cloudy evening...no shot! lol I left the resin in and kept the cover on it overnight. Got up early the next day. It was sunny out, so I put my car out in the drive way for a few hours. The resin cured in no time. Everything else was easy. Removing the cover using the included razor blade, making sure to work my way around the edges until it just peeled off. Used the razor blade to scrape away the excess resin and was left with a decent (not perfect) repair. The pitting is MUCH less visible, but it's not gone...but it hardly catches my eye while driving unless the sun shines in on certain angles and even then, it's not that bad. We'll see how this holds up as the weather gets colder.

Commonly, a small stone hits your windshield while driving in the highway and a small crack occurs at the impact site. Fortunately, there are windshield repair kits available. For this particular item, there is a YouTube video instruction posted (search by manufacturer's/brand name). This video greatly helped me understand the repair process. The package clearly stated the disclaimer on various weather (temperature) conditions, which may have an effect on results. So user beware! I applied the product during Spring like conditions. The only step that should be modified (depending on weather), in my opinion, is to increase the 10 minute time for the resin to set when the syringe plunger is pulled. This additional time would probably help the liquid resin turn to semi-gel. I found other reviewers complaining of liquid resin run-off when the whole plunger with sticky adapter is peeled off. But, this is not a real problem and "to be expected." The purpose of this step is to fill-in the deepest part of the hole. Just have a rag ready to wipe off liquid resin run-off. The final curing step would flatten any remaining hole and solidify the resin. This kit is complete with all accessories needed to do your repair, including a blade. I thought that I did a good job. The cracked area is barely noticeable, unless you closely look at it. When it rained, the wiper blade does not make a streak on the repair site.

This product does work, but the instructions are a bit unclear in the details. There is a YouTube video [...]that shows the process quite well. t I used more of the liquid from the tube than I thought during the application, and s I suggest watching the video before using this kit for the first time. The only problem I had with the installation was thao I didn't have enough left for the last step, the sealing/curing step. I had to scrape some of the liquid from the device when I removed it, to have enough for curing. The supply tube is not see-through, so you have to "feel" how much you are squeezing out. So make sure you save a good drop (that's all it really takes) for the last step. The curing went just as advertised. The repair looks fine. Hopefully it will last a good long time. There is one side effect to the repair: you may see what looks like a black mark on your windshield. This is an illusion due to the edge of the glass inside the repair, as viewed from an angle. It's not really black, but appears so, and should disappear when viewed from other angles. This repair kit is priced well and is not hard to install. It will save you $30 or more if you do it yourself rather than pay a shop to do the repair, and the shop may well use this very brand to do the in-shop repair. So save yourself some cash and do it yourself! Remember, this kit does ONE repair. You will need one kit for each area that needs repair.

I have purchased this repair kit multiple times after a dealership said their cost was $50 to fix a simple chip. The kit is easy to use and each time the crack was minimized visually and didn’t spread.

Worked OK on a 1 inch starburst chip dead center in my minivan windshield. I read through the directions, but started during a time without direct sunlight 4 pm. (I recommend a hot noon-day for best results) Overall result is not perfect but better than before, can barely see it but crack is present. Best to do it at the beginning of the day and spend a few minutes reading the directions. You need a clean surface, possibly a ladder if your vehicle is big, and a lot of sun for it to cure correctly. I unfortunately ran out of day light, and used a UV lamp to assist with the curing process. it worked OK, but the suction didn't hold as well as others claimed, and left a far smaller starburst pattern than I originally had. SO yes it works but it may not be that professional looking if it doesn't cure quickly.

The received item was as described by the seller. Delivered as scheduled. Based on the attached instruction it is not easy to repair your windscreen cracks.

Had a small chip that the product reduced significantly and hopefully protected the window fro further damage!

I followed every single step and once after some time the top piece adhesive came off and the rising was all over the place
