My go to steamer for travels. Quite compact and nice!

I’ve been using the Philips Steam Garment Steamer and I’m quite impressed with it. The sleek design and compact size make it perfect for home use or even for travel. It heats up quickly and works very fast, making it super easy to smooth out wrinkles on soft rayon and cotton clothes. One downside is the small water tank, which requires frequent refills if you’re steaming multiple garments. But for light and quick steaming, especially when you’re on the go, it’s a great choice.

Update: After a long wait, I received a replacement. I got it in Dec 2025. It's working fine now so I'm updating my review I bought this product on Sep 4th. When I received delivery, I tested it and it heated up. I used it only for 5 minutes that day. One week later, I tried to iron my top. But it stopped working after 3 minutes and started dripping water. I followed the trouble shoot guide to switch it off, wait for some time and tried again. This time it didn't heat at all. I filed a complaint on 19th Sep after trying every other trouble shoot. A technician took the product to repair one week later. I was told the spare is not avaiable to repair and they will have to request replacement. It's 30th October now. They opened and closed requests twice, telling me they're not allowed to keep the requests open more than 8 days. Today I was told, it will take more than a month and they don't just replace that easily. Now the period for cancellation and return is also over. I'm stuck. The customer care person responds and explains, there's no point in yelling at them but it's the company. Please do not buy this product online. I'd recommend going to a known local store instead. Don't get stuck like me.

this item does not work. I have been trying to get in touch with Amazon customer service for days with no luck. there is no option, no one replies even.now awaiting philips advisor to respond as I have a 2 year warranty. there is no steam coming from this device and the options to help are useless as they are for a steam iron and not a handheld steamer

I bought this steamer on recommendation from my sister in law who has been using it for 2 years. It's a very good steamer for clothes. It dosent replace an iron. It can be used for jackects, blazers and outfits for functions like weddings. The best part is it's portable so u can carry it when u are traveling outstation for vacation, family functions. Actually it was at a wedding that I saw my sister in law use it to iron her outfit it and realized that it's an useful product to have. It's very easy to use. The chord length is appropriate. Only thing is water filled for steamer works for 1 garment .Have to refill again if u have steam 2 garments. But that's very manageable. Now I don't have to give my heavy clothes, silk clothes, jackects for laundry. I can do it home. Also ironed clothes that have been kept in cupboard develop creases , u can remove them easily with this. Phillips is a brand u can trust and buy eyes closed. All my phillips product have worked very well without any issues. So if u are in the need of good steamer this is a good product to buy

Product is good, works fine. But have some points to check before buying 1. You have to hold it in your hand always upwards only that makes it difficult to hold it 2. Water tank is very small but makes sense as it's travel friendly Points to remember: Must use steam iron gloves while using it may hurt

Good steam cloth iron

It’s a great hand held steamer for maybe one lightweight garment at a time. It cannot replace iron but definitely is a saviour when in need. The water container is a bit small and needs to be refilled in case of going for a 2nd garment. It can also get quite tiring. But overall, it is pretty convenient.

It literally does nothing, and it’s not the first time we get a steamer and it’s nothing like the others, the cheapest alternatives are even better than this one, using my bare hands is literally better than using this useless product it’s a total scam
