PinPals Developmental Bowling Game Set for One Year Old Boys and Girls

This bowling playing set is so adorable. The colors are vibrant which is so nice for children. The set includes a storage container, 6 pins and 1 ball. The pins are soft and plush with some added crinkle that alot of younger kids will enjoy plus they make a rattle sound. The pins have a weighted bottom, but we have found that they are a bit hard to get to stand up on their own. We have had to push up on the bottom and then place them on the floor in order for them to stand properly. The ball is plush as well and rolls easily on our wood flooring, but not so much on the carpet. My boys have had hours of fun playing with this set so far and are learning more about bowling, how many pins have fallen and we hope to take them to an actual bowling alley very soon. This is the cutest bowling set that I have ever seen! The pins are made of soft, plush animals. There is a cow, a dog, a cat, a pig, a giraffe and a cow. The bowling ball is nice and soft so that no one gets hurt as our little ones throw wild. There are six “pins” to knock down and one plush ball. The colors are bright and the animal faces are adorable. I have found that I have to kind of settle the pins down to get them to stand up. Of course this also helps them to be easier to knock over which is very helpful with an impatient toddler. Even my 11 year old son wants to play with these but I have to remind them that they are for his nieces and nephews.*** I received this product at a discount for my evaluation and honest review. This review is my own opinion based solely on my experience with this product within my family and household.

These were purchased for a Christmas gift and haven't been unwrapped yet, so I can't comment on the aspect of child/toy interaction.However, I can comment on the very fine way they are packaged...in their own zippered pouch. The family using them has little space for toy storage and keeping "pieces" together can be such a hassle. I had concerns about this when I was deciding whether to purchase the pins and it turns out they solved the problem before there was one. The second thing I liked was the size of the pins. They are big enough to carry, play with and handle for a 1-2 year old. They are not oversized/overwhelming. So, everything I was concerned about turned out to be no concern at all.By all appearances it is a great toy that I would buy again.

Very cute, but like others said, they DO NOT stand up without a LOT of effort and balance. I bought these for my one year old's birthday, thinking my 2 and 4 year old would also enjoy them. They are very plush and soft and the rattle in each is nice, but it takes an adult with a lot of patience to set them up, and the SLIGHTEST bump knocks them over. I have yet to get all 6 standing long enough for any of my kids to roll the stupid ball at them. My kids lost interest almost immediately. Save your money and buy either the cheaper Melissa and Doug version or an even cheaper plastic ball & pin version. Wish I had not purchased :(

I purchased the pinpal bowling set for my daughter who just turned 2 in August. She really loves the set. The different pins are well made and appear to be really good quality. I like that it can be used for more than one purpose. The rattle and the crinkly material is a nice feature. The ONLY reason I gave this item 4 stars is because for a two year old (even though it is meant to be a developmental toy) it is frustrsting to her that she has a very difficult time getting the pins to stand up when she wants to bowl. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this product and look forward to more items in the future!

The personal touch was unexpected but absolutely delightful! I feel 100% confident in my purchase and would definitely buy from them again.

I ordered this for my young granddaughter and had them delivered. My daughter informs me that it is a great gift. My granddaughter didn't really understand that it is meant to be a game. Instead she packed them around, calling them her babies. I am sure that she will get a lot of enjoyment out of them.

Regret buying them as they do not stand up well, made of soft cloth so you cannot play with them outside. Pretty useless.
