I found this useful comparing to my own experience of similar roles. The book clarified aspects of what I and don't and should and should not do. The book would have different perspectives to interim leaders or those working with interim leaders. It's hard to imagine someone working around interim leadership would not relate to this.

This book clearly explains the value that Interim Leaders can add to an organisation through the many benefits they provide, and also addresses some common mis-perceptions about the role of an Interim Leader. I have personally operated as a successful Interim Leader for over 13 years now, and this is the most relevant and useful book I have read on this topic. Highly recommended.

It's written in "digestible chunks" which enable the reader to dip in and out as time permits (plane or train journeys in my case!) and follows a very relaxed and informative style; no heavy burden of unnecessary business-speak or jargon which is so refreshing. Can't recommend high enough, even if you're reading simply to understand the gig economy and its impact on the world of work as we know it. Excellent read!
