High quality quick connect fittings
Very high-quality materials were used to make this high-quality item. The two fittings connect to one another with a reassuring ‘click’. Can be operated with only one hand. I like these quick-connect fittings so much that I bought a couple extra sets.

These quick connectors have been tested & abused, yet they never failed.
I have these quick connectors in-between hose sets and at the torch end. I cut scrap metal in the field; these quick connectors have been dragged in the desert since I bought them January 2, 2022. These are currently set up on an outdoor cutting station and I have yet to see an issue with leakage. I have them on two different torch sets, and I would recommend them and I'm picky when it comes to safety, and I have 47 years exp. with torches.

I know "serious" oxygen/fuel users maybe don't use quick connects. I am lazy and these are GREAT.
I bought one set just to try out. Intent was if they leaked, even the slightest, they would be returned. Installed these immediately so it would be easier to switch between oxygen/acetylene cutting and heating/welding torches. And even my Smith Little Torch which I often use for silver soldering. Well I used the best leak detecting soap product I could find. After installation (inline at torch) I carefully checked for any leaks as I gradually increased the torch side pressure to oxygen 50 PSIG and ace 15 PSIG. 15 max acetylene pressure safe o use. 50 PSIG oxygen I almost never use. Well they were absolutely airtight. Turned off oxygen & acetylene. Purged both lines. Removed torch from quick connect. added back 20 PSIG oxygen. no leaks at open end of quick connect. Check valve worked as it should. Same for acetylene. Now will they hold up for extended use on/off on/off on/off, etc in a welding shop. Dunno. For my use they should be fine. Obviously will bubble check them every time they are used. Need ed 2 sets, and didn't buy the cheap male ends that are available., These things are machined as a unit, so I bought another full set of the Westerns and use the males ends on my other torch. This set up works well for me.

fantastic
installed these a couple weeks ago but only used for the first time yesterday. worked great. these allow me to keep my torch locked up in the truck while the hose and reel are bolted to the truck outside. very easy to connect and disconnect
