Awesome Boning Knife / Great Value
Awesome boning knife. I follow Scott Rea on YouTube, and he recommended this one. It is a good purchase. I'm hoping to try it out on a deer this hunting season.

This is my goto boning and fillet knife.
I now own three of these Victorinox Boning Knives. I keep one in my tackle box and two in the kitchen. My wife always seems to need it at the same time I need it so we now have two within easy reach. You can spend multiples of what this knife costs but I don't think you will get a boning knife of greater value. In the years since I purchased my first one, I have sharpened it maybe three times. In between sharpenings I simply run it over the honing steel a few quick passes and it is good to go. You will not regret buying the Victorinox Boning Knife.

Hated the Fibrox handle
Had to send it back. Hated the Fibrox handle. Why don't they use the DW safe plastic handle as they do on the smaller knives?

5 in. boning knife
These knives are a very good choice for the first knife that a meat cutter will pick. The overall length offers good control. The weight is light enough to be used comfortable for a long day without fatigue to your hand. The large handle again is something suitable for all day work. The factory cutting edge is an exceptionable quality, that may use a personal touch. Flexibility is just a bit stiff for my taste but overall this a work horse.

Love this knife!
I’ve had the curved version of this knife for years, but I never completely got used to it. This knife felt so much more natural in my hand, which really allowed me to be more precise. Love it!

Usually i like to hold the knife before I buy/use it
have used many boning knives in my career, last one I used recently was a slighty wider blade and 6 inch. Usually i like to hold the knife before I buy/use it...got this one, sight unseen...its great...does all i need it to do
