AVS hood/bug deflector fits like a glove on my 2014 Ford F-150 FX4. It looks sharp. Excellent product built well; not flimsy. Follow the directions for installation. Preparation of surface is key. This one has two small screws to install under the hood for security.

This is a nice add on for my '11 F150. Easy to install, looks good, and more rigid than I thought it would be. It comes with little rubber bumpers, but the flex in the shield isn't even close to touching the hood. I put them on the parts of the shield that I thought would touch if I hit a low flying bird. It protects the hood, but doesn't stick up too high, like the model I had on my old truck (2000 F150). I am very satisfied with the product and the price was great!

This item looks great very well made thick plastic construction the Only this was i had to modify the piece. The front grill of my 2012 f150 xl has bumps the caused this piece to not go flush as described. Not a big deal but it took a little longer to install and I had to drill holes for the pieces that went under the hood. Otherwise this is a great item and looks great too.

This was for my 2017 explorer. It fits really good. Easy to install

I have owned several "Bug Deflectors" for several vehicle types.. Most have been the "Ventshade" brand.. ONLY "minus".... Is it really A BUG DEFLECTOR? ... as it does not extend above the front hood line of my 2010 F-150 XLT.. It looks nice.. but is it functional? or just "artwork" for my truck.. unless a bug "direct hit" on the defletor.... to protect the windshield.....we will see... I do some occasional "early morning" desert driving on the weekends.. lots of bugs If you are a fan of this item... as am I...then, get it anyway.... as it looks very cool.... the dark "smoke" color is a "stunner" and the design does a nice job with the contour of the the hood line and sides.... adds a little "flare" .. BUT be "VERY" careful with final placement of the deflector....once the adheasive is in place.... it is "on to stay"... as it states in the installation instructions... believe me.... I know DRY RUNS.. with red cover tape in place... ARE A MUST You also need to drill two holes.... for addiotnal monuting screws.. "no biggie" Just don't expect it to "deflect" many bugs..

I went for my first carwash and the drying blowers blew it right of my truck shattering it. It is mounted by double back tape and two screws supplied. All I heard was a loud shuunk and when I got out of the truck I seen it laying on the ground in pieces.

After installing looks good help hide the wear where the wind over time wore the paint down on the front of the hood.

The directions were clear and it fit securely. It still looks great after three months.
