Helly Hansen Men's Crew Sailing Vest

Based on the previous reviews regarding sizing I decided an XL was the best option, though was surprised when I found myself swimming in what most others called slim. I'm not tiny (6'5" ~200) and after ordering the XL an swapping for the L I can confidently say you should pay way more attention to what size width wise you should be and less to the reviews regarding arm holes.If you're between sizes and concerned whether your arms will fit I would err on the side of your regular size. The vest is designed to keep tight to your body and part of that means ensuring there isn't a huge gap to let in the breeze around your armpit. If you're a 'unique' size then you probably know how much you should adjust from what typical reviews of other items suggest, but if you're in doubt on this one then go for your standard go-to, not the common reviewer suggested oversize.

despite everyone comment about the size , I ordered M size and it fits perfect , there will be no room if you zipped it and tried to sit, its kind of fitted size , so people with extra belly wouldn't fit nicely, also arm pit size are good for me and my size, the garment itself more to the light material , so it wont stand the harsh winter that much , but I like this garment and I'm thinking of getting the jacket as well

Looks good. Def order a size larger and even then the arm holes are a little tight very fitted. No insulation but that's not what it's for. Great spring / early fall protection from wind/rain but you can't be wearing much under it unless you get 2 sizes bigger.

Helly Hansen is great quality which is why it is used by professional in extreme environments. Had a HH jacket and added this vest to my collection. You can trust HH to be there for you, definitely my go to out door gear. For those in the US the sizes run small. I am between a med and large depending on the brand and with HH a XL is the perfect fit.

I was surprised how much I liked this vest. It fits perfectly. I am normally a size Large and this couldn't fit better in a size large. It is wind resistant. Contrast zippers are very stylish. Great for use in the fall or spring.

These are pricey but wonderful to wear and tough, easy to clean and comfortable. Handy to have extra pockets plus it gives that little protection agains the chill without a full coat. It looks nice to simply keep it on and enjoy it.

Somewhat small in the armpit area but other than that it fits well everywhere else.
