Loved the book. Very simple to the point instructions. Good explanation. Would recommend to anyone looking for a diet plan with recipes.

AMAZING COOKBOOK!
Amazing cookbook! I had purchased similar cookbooks in past and this was the best one I found and really happy with it. Everything is well and organized and easy to understand. Will recommend this cookbook to everyone!

Not for me
Not for me. The book apparently had no editor, as the writing is so poor sentences often need to be reread to make sense. As a registered nurse, I was put off by the implication that this diet will cure hypertension , especially since it said will drop systolic by only 3 or 4 points. Also claimed this diet is cancer cure, implying better than chemotherapy. Also, claimed diet should not be followed if you take meds for high blood pressure, suggesting it is better than, and in place of, medication, although it does say to consult your doctor. Certainly the diet is healthy, butThese overstated claims gave me an unfavorable reaction so I returned the book.I guess it’s okay if you just want some recipes.

Easy to follow recipes!
I sometimes find it hard when trying to cook using healthy ingredients is that so many of them you don’t already have in your refrigerator or pantry. One of the many things I loved is that majority of what you cook with you already have it or it is readily available at your local grocery store.If you are new to DASH Diet, this book summarises the origins of the diet really well and so you are mentally prepared as to what to expect. It also has a table which details what to have in your pantry when following DASH Diet lifestyle.Recipes are structured in a logical order and do include wide variety of breakfast, salad, poultry, fish and seafood recipes, snacks and desserts. It also contains a section for vegetarian recipes if you are looking for those options. If you want to follow a strict diet plan, then this book also has a 21-day meal plan.The book also contains a well-made ingredient index and makes it very convenient to find a recipe.

There are some really good recipes, but visuals would have made it so much better!
