Country Isle Jamaican Ackee in the Can, Perfect with Saltfish and Breadfruit, Tree Fresh (Single Can)

This is my second time buying this brand. After the first time, I went rogue and tried another brand. Needless to say, I was disappointed and had to request a refund because of the mushiness of that brand. That other brand was a rip and half of it went down the sink as mush.This brand, Country Isle, is simply the best that can be bought in a can.It arrived packaged nicely and without dents.

The media could not be loaded. Glad I tried this brand cause others came mushy. I’ll be stocking up on this. The Ackee taste just as if I were to pick it from the trees in Jamaica. I sautéed a lot of onion and scallion with red herring fish and added alot of black pepper and some paprika. It was delicious.

Just what I needed to take my recipe to the next level.

Nice Ackee. Nice big chunks so wasn’t “mushy“ when I cooked it. Outside of the real ackee fruit this is a great option and highly recommended

Way too Expensive to buy on a frequent basis or infrequently. Has to be available elsewhere.
