great fit for a Nissan Altima
This is a great filter. Installation was a royal pain due to Nissan's decision to put the filter housing behind and to the left of the glove box and then run a plastic housing down and just in front of the filter opening. I have never seen a more Rube Goldberg design too for a cabin filter housing. You have to contort you body to get in position to use your fingers to set the opening door and latch it. But the Fram filter was flexible enough to get it into position. Good job Fram.

This is a great filter for the price
I’ve purchased this brand before and I’ve always been happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this manufacturer because their products always fit in are as described. I was having trouble with bad smells in my vehicle and this performed great after changing my old one and exchanging it for this one the smell went completely away for the money it fit excellent quality and performs just the way its supposed to.

Perfect fit in my 2018 Nissan Altima SR
Perfect fit in my 2018 Nissan Altima SR. Getting the old filter out on this car is a pain in the rear! Getting the new one is easier, but had to scrunch it a little to get it in. This is not a problem with the filter. It's the way Nissan designed and located the access for this. It's on the left side of the passenger floor. Almost behind the center console.

Saves $$, gets the purpose done & Amateurs can install!
As best I can tell it’s filtering the air to keep debris, allergens, insects and other dust particles from entering/exiting/escaping through the ventilations or obstructing the engine intake. As for the breeze scent, it must’ve dissipated in stock or storage because it wasn't in the box nor released once installed in cabinet filter nor when the air circulated. Its not the easiest to install perhaps because of the location of the filter cabin, which is not behind the glove compartment as the instructions indicated for my Altima. The middle console panel has to be removed on the passenger side with a gentle tug (it snaps back in when done), and (use flashlight) then feel for a clip to release/unlock by a gentle push on the cabin filter door, as far back as where the feet rest, but in the side of the middle console. Once released remove old filter by tugging it out (spray with a can of air to clean out), then squeeze the new accordion filter and stuff (literally) into cabin. A bit of a challenge, but not impossible with practice and it doesn’t cost $70-$100 as priced at local shops or dealerships. I’m an Amateur and 2nd time done. 3rd time I become an Expert.

Good replacement for original: 2016 Nissan Murano
This Fram cabin air filter is good quality, as you expect from Fram and fits the 2016 Nissan Murano. It is a real pain to install, but this reflects on Nissan's design and not on this filter.

Fram Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter/2016 Nissan Altima
Its not Fram's fault that Nissan horribly designed the cabin air filter box on all there car and truck models. Before I go any further, make sure you note the direction of the airflow when you pull out the old cabin air filter. In the case of the 2016 Nissan Altima, it was pointing towards the cabin and away from the firewall. Not doing this will ruin your air conditioning system overtime. The cabin air filter installed backwards will get clogged up quicker and restrict the air going through the vents more and more overtime. This makes the system work harder and prematurely burn out your blower motor.Get a small flat blade screwdriver to remove the cover if you cannot do it with your fingers. Remove the old filter noting the direction of the air flow. Next grab your new cabin air filter and place in the proper air flow direction. I had to crunch the middle of the cabin air filter element, just to get it back into its compartment. Don't worry if you fold the sides while doing this, it won't rip easily. There's no smooth way to do this, you will be wrestling with this to get it in and most of it will be by feel as its almost impossible to see what your doing. Also the cover will give you a fight when trying to click it back on into its place. Be careful to not break the tab off. After all that struggle and double checking my work I finally finished the installation. I turned on the Altima's air conditioning and right away I smelled the Arm & Hammer and carbon strips neutralizing the air and smelling clean out the AC vents. It is kind of intimating, so watch a couple videos online to give you and idea on what to expect.Good luck.
