CARPRO CQUARTZ SiC 30ml Kit - Car Ceramic Coating Finish, Quartz Based Nanotechnology, Bonds to Paint, Glass, Metal and Plastic

Nothing but good things to say so far. I purchased and applied a couple of months ago. So, unsure how long it will last. I properly prepped my car in advance and applied two coats. Super easy to apply vs. most other products I've used in the past. Nice quality, shine and water beading. Highly recommended!

This product is easy enough to use if you have prior coating experience. The main thing to watch for is proper flash time, seems this can range from approx 2-8 mins give or take. Unlike most other coatings that you can see a rainbow drying pattern this is a bit hard to see. Too little time=not enough bonding too much time=high spots and difficulty removing. Use a small spot to start and determine how much time you will need so you can tell how far ahead you can work and then return to applied portions to remove. This gave a mirror shine and super hydrophobic property to my vehicle. Washing is now faster, most light dirt doesn't even stick or blows off driving. This is a great product so far. If it lasts 18+ months I will consider using it again. The pre coating prep work is the main chore as with any coating but the work pays off. If this is your first experience coating, watch plenty of videos. Lastly do not shake and have a towel ready when you open and hold away from your face. It is pressurized.

This is a very forgiving coating. Coast well and easy to remove and plenty of time to remove before it’s too hard to remove.Very glossy

I used this as a stand-alone coating and was very impressed with the shine and hydrophobic properties, but I found it just doesn’t have the durability of the 3.0UK, but is longer lasting than the Gliss. I have now started using the SiC as the top coat for the 3.0 and it excels in that role!! Maintenance with the reset soap and reload spray and it lasts quite a while.

The media could not be loaded. My initial review of this was pretty good. But after two months of this being on my car, it’s already worn off. It took hours to apply correctly, which is what I would’ve expected from a “professional quality” product. However, two months later and this stuff has already washed off my car. Even with washes done by ceramic coating friendly soap from chemical guys, the coating still wore off.

Okay guys, before you say "you should've taken the correct steps" just know I'm a detailer of 6 years experience and I am fluent in Carpro Ceramics.The surface was properly buffed, polished, sterilized and applied 2 coats.That said, I used this on my windshield, hood, mirrors and front bumper 2 weeks before my road trip to Florida in November. We encountered rain the whole way down. By the time we got down to Florida from Wisconsin the coating was 70% gone. We had the right temp, the right humidity and dry time. No car wash beforehand. Not sure if I had a bad bottle or what. We got home and I polished the windshield and the rest came off like it was wax. Not sure if such a coating is supposed to do that.
