Product Description CC BEC Pro (Battery Eliminator Circuit) is a small device that eliminates the need for a receiver battery. It draws voltage from the motor batteries and drops it to a voltage level that is suitable for your receiver and servos. This is required in applications which use high power servos, where the ESC does not have an internal BEC, or the existing BEC is inadequate. The CC BEC Pro is designed to operate at up to 12S LiPo (50.4V) with a 20A* peak servo load. Generally used for 1/5 scale cars or cars utilizing multiple high powered digital servos, lights, winches and other accessories. It is also useful in larger airplanes using 4 or more digital servos. Perfect for 500 size or larger helis. From the Manufacturer Castle Creations eliminator circuit is ideal for use in larger RC cars, electric aircraft, and electric helis 500 size and larger that have high power demands for their radio system. Also works well in larger electric powered RC aircraft and RC crawlers and monster trucks that use high powered servos. Requires: Installing between battery and receiver Review: Awesome. - This is better than expected. I use it for non-RC applications that require about half the rated capacity of this. I have found it to be incredibly stable under test and in service. It is more stable than a power supply that I could make, and VERY efficient. I use this for an on-body, battery powered device, that uses about 200ma standby and 10a peak. Even at standby there is very little loss (something like 10% or less if I recall... it's been a while). I use it at 5v with 11-16v in. You will need (or at least WANT) a castle link, so just get it at same time. Castle link requires Windows AFAIK. Review: Powerful and reasonably priced. Measuring only 4V output? Read the review. - This is a fine BEC from a respected American company. It puts out a large amount of current and in my 550-size heli this unit hardly even breaks a sweat. You can set the voltage using the Castle Link. If you buy a Castle speed controller there is usually a coupon for a free one. An important point is that you must disconnect the Link if you are trying to measure the output voltage you have set. If you leave it connected while bench testing you will only measure about 4 volts on the output. This is true no matter what voltage you select. This is not a real problem, just something to be aware of to avoid going around in circles while setting things up. Castle really should mention this in their documentation or their web site.

Castle pro bec rock solid!
Put this in my black horse viper xl to run hv servos, and power the retract controller since it had 2 leads. Wired directly to esc 12s power never faultered! Still going strong never gets hot, would recommend this to anyone that needs an adjustable bec( castle link sold separately)

Awesome
i diddnt understand i had to order a programmer for this when i originally ordered it, that being said i have since ordered a second one. they are great little regulators hardly get hot and both of mine have kept a pretty stable output while under load. im proably buying a third for another project soon. if you buy one, remember to buy the programmer! you cant set the output voltage without it

Can't get much better than this one...
This is a great little regulator. It is super easy to program the output voltage you want by using the Castle Link programmer. The unit is compact, easy to mount and accepts a very wide range of input voltages. You can't go wrong with this regulator.

Great BEC
I always like using Castle Creations Products. These are easy to program and work great.

Works great.
But a programmer needed if you don't have one for voltage programming.

Best BEC with programmable options for under 40 bucks!
I have been using castle creations products since I first started flying the small Align 250 rc heli back in 2009. This bec is a beast and has never failed on me. I love it and have it paired with a castle creations 120hv. I have one on all three of my 700 size helis. This one might be a overkill for my 550 but better safe then crash.

Great product for bigger RC planes, programmable piece of mind to take the stress off your ESC. Lots of power to spare even on my Corsair with 13 servos

Works fine. You will probably need the programmer as well, which is another $30-$40. This should probably be sold in combination with the programmer, as a combined deal.
