Aquila Strings AQ-21U Nylgut "Low D" Baritone Ukulele Strings

Aquilas are a top string producer. I've been using this brand for a decade, and the "Nylgut" version are great. You can buy these with confidence.

I am very disappointed. My first order of low D ukulele strings arrived with one of the strings missing, so I returned to Amazon for another set. The second replacement set just arrived with the same problem; one of the 4 ukulele strings is missing. :(

Good feel and good sound. I like them.

I'm waiting and reserving judgement...I'm trying a stunt with these strings and putting them on the bari in mixed order so I can have a low low G and play the bari as if it is tuned like other ukes. SO the D string goes into the C position. The upper two strings are just reversed and the the only string that has to stretch a bit is the string we're tuning to the low G. It is an experiment. My instructor isn't so sure about it, as he applies all sorts of music theory to the project. I think it will work -- Aguila has never failed me yet!
